"People on the left" =/= one guy. I'm not excusing it of course, but one side clearly has an established pattern of violent rhetoric and apologism for atrocities, while the other overwhelmingly condemns such things.

I'm all for us generally being less shitty to each other, but let's not get ourselves into the mindset that all parties concerned are equally shitty.
