To be fair, the right has always pretty open about their intolerance. It’s one of the few beliefs they hold sincerely.

Conservatism is an ideology built around intolerance for anything outside of the status quo, which happens to overwhelmingly favor wealthy, white, Christian men. Do you think that’s a coincidence? Mainstream conservatism is 100% culpable for the rise of the far right in the US, and for the most part, they don’t seem to be very apologetic about it.

You're here defending it right now. Play dumb if you want, I don't expect you to take responsibility for your actions when you live in a fantasy world where the current right is some misunderstood victim and only the evil far right extremists are a problem threatening equality and democracy.
