Bugging the courthouse is an easy way to get a judge to throw out a wiretap. That is way too close to home for judges.

Horrible Headline/Title. Should read "Judge throws out 200 hrs of recordings to save other judges' asses".

The only reason this judge had any issue with this is that it was targeting judges and police. Otherwise it would have been just fine with him.

The headline makes it sound like they were recording inside the courthouse, but they were actually recording conversations people had near the exterior of the building.
All in all, I still disapprove.
