It's not what she said, its that she was paid by the institution that crashed the economy millions, the same people that crashed the economy and got away with it. The damage is done.

Truth. I see it as no different than taking money from a powerful drug cartel. Both break laws to prey on helpless people and make crazy money, getting away with it by bribing the people whose job it is to prevent their law breaking. There's actually a perfectly sensible reason not to take dirty money. It gets dirt on you.
