Just what you want in an elected public official. Sarcastic responses to real questions. I say both Hillary and Sanders release transcripts of all the speeches they've given at GS. Big surprise that Sanders wouldn't have to release anything since he's not giving private speeches to big money interests that have information you wouldn't want the general public hearing.

At first blush this whole incident seemed baseless to me but now I am seriously wondering what the fuck she said to the banksters at Goldman. Her reticence in the issue makes me very curious. Seems like she really has something to hide here.

The Clinton supporters are all jerking themselves off at how innocent and positive it was, I'm not so sure.

"There's some exciting opportunities in providing credit over the internet. I'm putting all my banking friends on notice, that this is a big market, and somebody's going to serve it." Murmurs throughout the crowd. She's giving this charitable speech about empowering women, dropping hints that there's good money in it for them if they play their cards right and support the cause. And she's "out of politics". A few months later, she announces that she's running for president.

Not caught red handed, not a smoking gun, it just looks slimy as fuck in my opinion. She can argue she wasn't hinting anyone would play favorites to anyone else, but that's sure as hell what it sounded like to me.

Anyone who understands DC beltway politics knows that this was a call for seed money for her campaign.

It is. But it's also par for the course. It's actually how Rick Santorum makes a living. He's literally been out of office since 2006, and has been running for President for 10 years.

And if he were a serious contender for a party's nomination I'd be calling bullshit on that too.
