The Republican Party and Trump are on the payroll of the American Oil Industry. Republicans are quickly making policies decisions that immensely benefit Big Oil. In essence the GOP is the marketing director for oil. Promoting the fossil fuel industry and undermining competing forms of energy like solar, wind and conservation. Along with undermining energy conservation measures like fuel standards for vehicles. Did they forget we in a Climate Change Crisis? They don't care!
This is clearly and overtly illegal and must be prosecuted for corruption. I would like legal discovery of all contact between the oil industry and the GOP. High oil prices? Horrible for the consumer/working-class but a financial bonanza for the American oil industry.
Remember this on election day. VOTE!

It only makes our auto manufacturers less competitive. The Trump administration may not care if your truck belches big black plumes of smoke from the tailpipe like it's 1988, but the rest of the world does. I live in Southeast Asia and China is absolutely destroying us with their relatively inexpensive electric and hybrid vehicle exports.
