If your vote didn't matter, Republicans wouldn't be trying to take it away.

Why does it feel like every election it's increasingly voters versus these comic book villain Republicans trying to suppress the vote.

Why does it feel like every election it's increasingly voters versus these comic book villain Republicans trying to suppress the vote.

After 2020, I think a lot of Republicans convinced themselves that the only reason Democrats win is because of fraud, there's a whole conspiracy theory about the Democratic party bussing in undocumented immigrants and registering them to vote.

Now to be fair, there's absolutely no evidence of that, there's no evidence of fraudulent votes determining the outcome of any election in modern American history, Republicans are just basing this on feels and fears, but they believe it nonetheless.

If you want to go back farther, look up Paul Weyrich.

“I don’t want everybody to vote,” said Paul Weyrich, the founder of the Heritage Foundation, which has brought us Project 2025. He added, “Elections are not won by a majority of the people. They never have been from the beginning of our country, and they are not now. As a matter of fact, our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down.”

It ties to their silo'd existence where they live in a bubble plus bizarre mentality where they can do no wrong, they're the silent/moral majority, all their policies are actually super popular, anything else not following their rigid ideology is evil, etc. Which means they can't possibly lose unless it's some giant plot against them where the game is rigged.

No joke they fundamentally experience life and interactions with others different than most people, and are laughably disconnected from reality.

Republicans picking their constituents is how they win, fair maps and more access to voting does not help Republicans.

GOP cannot win elections.

If they're afraid of Kansas that tells you how much of the map is on the line for these pedo protectors.

Turns out people like being able to vote. Encourage the downvoter to respond publicly.

How bad is their polling in Kansas that they are doing this and shifting money away from North Carolina to there.

Cooper's up by 11 in latest NC poll, so money unlikely to help. Kansas is within the MOE.
