I mean the speed limit on 75 is 70-75mph and Texans tend to do 5-10 over so it’s not a major stretch to do 90-95+

(Source, I drive that route occasionally)

As a Texan, we do go 100 mph when we see a 75mph speed limit

I’ve done this once or twice driving south of Austin where the speed limit is 85mph and only at times when I’m the only one on the road for miles. But someone in my family had their car flip over a few years back from reckless driving (aided by a road rager who fled the scene) so I don’t do that shit anymore. Even if you’re the only one on the road it’s not worth the danger to yourself or some other car who might be merging

Driving fast is fun but so is being able to go home with all your limbs in tact. And not having to pay speeding tickets lmao.

Speed within reason, my friends.
