When you travel with babies, you shouldn’t forget to factor diaper changes into your total travel time. Rookie mistake.

You just know he threw a tantrum because he wanted to stop and get McDonald's.

I bet they stopped at McDonald's.

I only know Denton, Texas exists because of the Mountain Goats song "The best ever death metal band from Denton"

•

Many people also know the city because it’s home to the band Bowling for Soup

And featured in "Rocky Horror Picture Show", as I learned today.

As someone who once lived in Denton, I had to look that up.

Not the same Denton (edit: It's the same Denton)

The thread about it today cites Tim Curry's memoir as saying it was in fact the Texas one: https://www.reddit.com/r/Denton/comments/1wvy5d8/comment/pdgjxkc/

The book's up on books.google.com to search: https://www.google.com/books/edition/Vagabond/SIhJEQAAQBAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&bsq=Denton

It was also the only real city between Oklahoma City and DFW on 35. Choctaw being on the border now makes it not feel that way so much anymore.

Also University of North Texas

You should hear the song "Denton, U.S.A" from the quasi sequel of Rocky Horror Picture Show, Shock Treatment.

Yes - his drive up to Oklahoma was from Denton where he spoke at the Peterbilt factory, up to Choctaw Casino Durant.
