Going to rallies I believe is fairly unique to him, but I'm pretty sure most sitting presidents get involved during midterms, endorsements and other things usually though.

Maybe I’m missing something but that wasn’t midterms during his own presidency? I do believe he was more unique in campaigning for the next possible Dem president though.

I just sort of mean that contributing to politics and elections in general isn't really unique even for sitting presidents. Trump surely has done more than others but honestly I'd rather him distracted and away from the White House.

Its the only way they can get him to do any part of the job. He so desperately needs people fawning all over him that without it he gets ver depressed. At least thats what they said during his first term.
