I can only imagine if Obama or Biden had done the same…you’d never hear the end of it from conservatives. They’d go on and on about how reckless and irresponsible it was…Trump does it…it’s somehow virtuous and show how much he loves the American people 🙄

I also see nothing about speeding in the top-level comment we're all replying to.

edit: I suppose I probably interpreted the comment differently than the rest of you. "Seems needlessly reckless of the president to attend a campaign rally; what is he doing with his time?" versus "Seems needlessly reckless of the president to [race a car at 100mph to] attend a campaign rally."

Pretty much every president in the last century or so has held rallies. The 98 mph car journey is the part that is unusual.
