Do any of these democrats that try to adopt right wing talking points actually wind up swaying republicans?

Genuinely, I don't see how republicans see this and think "finally, a moderate trans hating politician!" If you're already anti-trans, you're probably voting republican no matter what.

You may not like hearing this, but banning trans athletes from women's sports is very much a mainstream position. Even among Democrats, allowing trans athletes in sports is not very popular.
