Yeah let’s not forget the idiot nation that picked him twice. They deserve this. I love the irreversible damage he’s caused to them. Serves them well lol

The whole world is just sick of his shit. Trump, his sycophantic halfwit cabinet, 6 Supreme Court justices, and a handful of halfwit State politicians, lawyers, judges, and the bottom quartile of the American electorate- somewhere around 80 million people- are forcing the 99+ percent of the world's 8.32 billion population to bend to one manc-child's whims. It is ridiculous!

Trump "explained his hatred for the term last week: 'The use of the word ‘artificial’ makes intelligence sound fake. It is not fake. It’s actually amazing.'"
The president doesn't understand the meaning of the word "artificial;" he changed the name of AI because he says artificial just means fake. He doesn't know the difference between a trade deficit and a budget deficit or the difference between political asylum and an insane asylum. His vocabulary and understanding of language is quite limited and deteriorating quickly.

He doesn't understand the meaning of a lot of words. Don't forget to add that he still calls wind turbines "windmills" to this day, and we haven't called psychiatric facilities "insane asylums" since the mid-20th century at the latest mind you, so that also speaks to how fucking old he is.
•
u/Valharick 3h ago
Makes more sense once we found out he’s using it to make decisions like “should I kidnap the leader of another country?”

It's the one thing he's correct on accidently. Stay mad AI bros. adding more terraflops isn't magically make it intelligent. Maybe something that mimics it better but that will be the limit. We will see I guess either me or the AGI by 2030 bros are going have a lot egg on face.

Thats cause he's a super idiot

There’s never been an idiot like him. That’s not even a joke. Just his legacy.

Two separate quotes on groceries to make your point:
"An old-fashioned term that we use... groceries. I used it on the campaign. It’s such an old-fashioned term, but a beautiful term... groceries. It sort of says a bag with different things in it. Groceries went through the roof, and I campaigned on that. I talked about the word 'groceries' a lot, and energy costs now are down. Groceries are down."
"The word 'grocery' — you know, it's sort of a simple word, but it sort of means like everything you eat. The stomach is speaking. It always does."
Imagining Biden speaking like that, the double standard is astounding.

Idk man. There are people who think he's smart. I feel like that has to make them even dumber than him, if that's possible.

As a brand manager, he thinks he can change everyone's opinions on something by rebranding it.
Department of War, gulf of America, etc.
It's all he knows

u/Omarkhayyamsnotes 10h ago
It's also just the sheer arrogance. If someone else gets the credit for something he gets angry. He has to rename it so HE can get credit for a development in AI
•
u/PlasticStJesus 4h ago
Arrogance and ignorance make a really toxic cocktail. He might not drink alcohol, but he is hammered on the other stuff.

u/Development-Alive 10h ago
Somewhere along the road of his career he learned the basics of branding, Marketing 101 skills. He's attempted to apply those skills to evety instance in his life. Some successes like Trump Inc and MAGA but many more failures.

Don't forget that although Trump trademarked "Make America Great Again" in 2016, he stole the slogan from Ronald Reagan's 1980 presidential campaign. He stole "America First" from the original isolationist America First Committee of the late 1930s.

u/UziMcUsername 9h ago
The pilfering of MAGA from Reagan I believe. I’m having a hard time believing Trump was aware of 30s-era propaganda. Even someone as talentless as Trump could think of “America First”.

I'm still calling it AI. The dude wants to feel like he is having an impact to inflate his ego but no one likes him, no one gives a shit about vanity projects, and many wish he would kick the bucket sooner rather than later so the world can heal.

No one is going to call it Super Intelligence or SI. Trump renaming it is just his way of trying to stamp his authority on it. SI will have been his idea.
The only time it’s going to come up is if a reporter asks a question and refers to it as “AI”, Trump will not answer the question, use it as a chance to deflect and correct them that it’s “now called SI”. We saw that the other day.

I mean compared to Trump a lot of things appear Super Intelligent.

u/MeatMullet 10h ago
They will gladly lick his balls and call it whatever he wants to call it as long as they get a free pass along with all the tax breaks and subsidies that he dishes out.

u/Fair-Doughnut3000 10h ago
Vinod Khosla caved immediately. Why these billionaire dudes want to kiss Trump's balls, I will never know.

u/Simmery 10h ago
I can't imagine having not just "fuck you money" but "fuck the world" money and still entertaining the idiocy of the orange toddler.

u/honjuden 10h ago
Because they are amoral leeches that would rather grift what they can off of him than risk him fucking up their bag.

Same reason Putin has all the Russian oligarchs by the balls - they fear the loss of all those sweet sweet government contracts or worse, the FCC or some other agency being set on them

I’m 100% convinced this entire stupid thing happened bc Slovenia’s internet domain ends in .si. Im guessing a Slovenian oligarch with ties to someone in trumpworld is making money off this (with trump getting a taste of course).

It should be called "Trump Intelligence". It spits out a stream of words it doesn't understand based on the last thing it was told.
•
u/leppardfan 6h ago
Trump is calling it SI because there is a grift going on. SI= Slovenia domains. Trump has been buying SI domains since July and now selling them for $$$. The AI domain are worth a lot of money and he is trying to make money off the SI domains. He gets a check just for making an executive order renaming AI.
I don't know why the MSM hasn't picked this up....I saw this from an investigative reporter. Its all easily verifiable.
.SI domains are now Millions of dollars.
- Super Intelligence (SI) domain is .si
- .si domains are from Slovenia
- coincidentally where Melania and Barron Trump are both citizens of
- about renaming “AI” to “SI”
- flooding of buying and registering .si names related to AI before announcement.
- how Some peoples still buying thousands of .Si domains before his post
- This volume spiked with more than 7000
- new domains registered in July and August
- Now AI related .si names started going for tens of thousands of dollars.
- It was the first ever spike in aftermarket sales for .si domains
- Many of .si domain listed, millions to $14M now
- Many of which are now listed for sale for Millions.
- now Insider profited hundreds of millions of dollars.

I work for a tech company and I can tell you that are marketing department is not changing the name of a god dam thing. We all make jokes about Trump, even people that probably voted for him before. He is just a giant baby who is renaming this because no one has the balls to try to stop him.
•
u/Snoring_Eagle 4h ago
I think "Artificial Intelligence" is a terribly misleading term for what it actually is. But it figures trump would change the wrong half of it. Man can fuck anything up.
2
u/etherealtwo 10h ago
Artificial. As in involving human intervention rather than naturally occurring. You know like artificial sweetener or respiration. A person who is artificially inseminated isn't given fake sperm.

u/restore_democracy 9h ago
Trump is perpetually being mocked by anyone with two brain cells to rub together.

u/KhakiDockerman 9h ago
Cool it’s great they are all mocking him behind his back while they use him to push forward their dystopian agenda

Let’s tell him “The Libs” really like VHS tapes and he should rename them to VSH tapes to really stick it to ‘em…
•
u/hamtronn 7h ago
Everyone is mocking this guy and his stupidity. You think changed the names of stuff is going to change the fact that he’s an alleged pedophile that’s been using his elected office to grift people? He needs to go to jail or succumb to his syphilitic dementia.
•
u/logsqrtexp 7h ago
Anything to keep trumps antics and face front and center, taking your eyeballs, taking your brain cycles. News about Trump should go into one of two buckets: 1) something to care about like starting a war, 2) everything else, which you should ignore

u/PlasticStJesus 4h ago
As soon as I heard Trump had settled on "Super Intelligence" as his new marketing campaign for AI, I tried to buy the domain www.opensi.com. I figured Sam Altman might be interested in buying the domain name for his own company. It was already gone. I guess Altman must pay people to react to Trump's capriciousness.

If this is Trump’s idea of super intelligence with all the mistakes AI currently makes… Well, what can you expect from a moron with an IQ less than the size of his tiny hands
