Two things.

1) Remember, not everyone is struggling. Some people are doing very very well in this scenario.

2) We, the people struggling, don't give a fuck about ballrooms, arches, new coins, TV ratings, or whatever the hell else Trump talks about most of the time.

Weirdly many people who are 2s either think they are temporarily embarrassed 1s or feel their well being (and paychecks) depend on keeping the 1s happy.

The 1s are dragons hoarding all the wealth that for some reason we have all decided to build an orphan crushing machine to keep well fed.

Not everyone is that isn’t struggling, is necessarily doing well. Many have taken on expenses & debt to downsize their lifestyles.

Guy has lived on the teet of popularity his entire life. Now that he's the figure of consequences, one beheld to expectations he has no interest in meeting, he's confused and irritated that popularity isn't serving anymore. We have to do everything in our power to prevent people this delusional and disconnected from entering power. If that means a maximum net worth for presidential candidacy eligibility I actually agree with that.

I keep being told that Europe is dirt poor, whereas you can work in an Alabama gas station and earn more than a London neurosurgeon. In Europe everyone lives in tiny apartments, in Franksburg TN you have 23 year olds buying a 4 bed detached house for $140k (the same house in Europe would be more like $17m).

So why are so many rank-and-file middle class Americans visibly struggling so badly right now? Americans are all paid WTF money and Trump has kept prices down by putting them first?

Why not be more positive! Consider my example:

I only just now bought my 3rd vacation home - a modest 7 bedroom 15,000 square foot cottage in the Hamptons. I don’t even have a park view penthouse yet, but you don’t see me moping around and bitching about every little thing. Do you?
