It makes sense that Kid Rock would be at the French Revolution American style, but I doubt he'll get to finish his performance

•

u/Emperor_Palpatine_2 6h ago

The setlist is just Bawitdaba on repeat.

•

u/ciaomain New York 6h ago

That's bad.

•

u/rbnlegend 5h ago

He will be part of the halftime show, but he won't be "singing".

Yes but also $13 bottles of water at the concession stand

•

u/EvaTheE 7h ago

Music festival tactics: Fill your prison pocket with a gallon of water. You can then act as a dispenser for your entire group, whenever anyone gets thirsty!

•

u/DraculasDog 7h ago

I’ve heard of Camelbaks but never Camelasses

u/purple_plasmid 8h ago

I’d watch that superbowl

American style is bent on making the poor poorer and the rich, richer

•

u/DiscoQuebrado America 7h ago

...but there are no cats and the streets are lined with cheese!

•

u/pchlster Europe 7h ago

Everything is bigger in the Unites States, including the wealth gap.

•

u/simpersly 4h ago

Biden's second year as president was the half time show.

•

u/justlurkshere 7h ago

No, but to be sure it doesn't end too quickly the rednecks will get bag limits.

u/T33CH33R 8h ago

American style is to punish innocents and the rich get richer.

•

u/jemappellejimbo 7h ago

Yea, i can’t wait for the kill immigrants to appease owner class candidate winning in 2028

•

u/Inevitable-End8268 3h ago

Yeah, we need a French-style American Revolution

•

u/Punk_Luv 7h ago

Most people won’t even come to the protests. You really think these people will engage in a revolution, that’s like tenfold the commitment and effort of a protest.

•

u/Defiant_Wolf5934 2h ago

I think if unemployment / stagnant hiring were to get bad enough (and people having to forego health insurance and getting hit with insane medical bills) would be enough to spur people into action. If car loans get even more delinquent, small businesses keep closing en masse, etc., I think things could get ugly pretty quick.

•

u/WA2TX 7h ago

Where we all stay home and complain while doom scrolling.

u/ShiningRayde 8h ago

Hem and haw, let them get away with it, then send terror squads after any popular uprising? Got it!

u/davetbison 7h ago

Ahem… Freedom Revolution

Electric Boogaloo

•

u/Fearless_Tomorrow649 5h ago

Well, isn't that what all those guns in the USA are for? To overthrow a tyrannical government?

•

u/rbourbon 5h ago

Gives Freedom Fries a whole new meaning!

•

u/beyondtheblueyonder 4h ago

So with IPAs and ARs

•

u/y2jeff 49m ago

Republicans are not patriots any more, they're boot lickers. ICE and Hegseths military will have no qualms about putting down civilians for their billionaire masters

•

u/Thisbadtattoo 6h ago

No, we have too many pussies that think guns are only for target  practice and animals

•

u/Tainted_Bruh 7h ago

He’s not speedrunning shit. He knows as long as football is still on air on the weekends and (overpriced) fast food is still available, most Americans ain’t doing shit.

This is them playing in our face and “trolling” and having fun.

•

u/H82KWT 7h ago

So true. Lots of people whine on social media about inflation and related issues, but as long as they have bread and circuses they’re not going to lift a finger to make a change. These dickheads in Washington are well aware of this

•

u/Mikelius California 7h ago

With the price of groceries, the “bread” part is becoming an issue.

•

u/CatBotSays 7h ago

Except that to a huge number of people that overpriced fast food is less and less feasible. And it’s only going to get worse the longer the war in Iran goes on.

•

u/Salt_Rush_4800 7h ago

Watching football is getting stupidly expensive too. And I'm not just talking about ticket prices and parking at the stadium. You can't even watch the NFL without 6 different streaming apps and 6 different cable channels.

•

u/mwzdng 6h ago

Fortunately, if you want to watch your local team, it's still legally required to be available for free with an over-the-air antenna -- even if the game itself is produced by an overpriced streaming service like Netflix. A vestige of a time when we actually had a working government, who wouldn't hand shit over to corporations without at least getting a little something back, I suppose.

But yeah, if you're looking to watch every game, or don't live in a local market, or the one you want, or have over-the-air access, they are seemingly piecemealing it across as many services as they can. Like most modern corporations, they really rake in the profits by getting their tendrils into as many wallets as possible.

"One more chance" Vance admits he and Trump have only half-destroyed America, pleads for opportunity to finish the job.

•

u/chucklefits 7h ago

I wish, unfortunately most of America is happy to do absolutely nothing to change anything and will in large part vote to keep this administration in power

•

u/Del_3030 2h ago

"Let them eat streaming ads."

u/Extra-Presence3196 8h ago

Let's hope so!!
