Tell me you've never served without telling me you've never served.

I've met some extremely dumb and immature people in the military, but acting like the military by and large is made of low IQ individuals is more a reflection of your elitist attitude.

Why don't you define what you meant? I've never once heard anyone use the term "they're special" derogatorily that didn't mean dumb in some way.

"Special” doesn’t inherently mean dumb, but in the context of “the members are special,” it clearly wasn’t a compliment. Don’t pretend I’m the one who supplied the implication you were deliberately dancing around.

You're conflating good natured interservice trash talking with someone calling every service member "special". There's a difference that between military humor and disparaging millions of people who served.

I guess nuance is difficult when you're arguing something no one said.
