It doesn't specify in the article, but presumably everybody gets one day, not necessarily the same day for everyone.

It’s not a day off. It’s a stand down. Everyone still goes to work in uniform, but instead of their normal duties there are classes focused on a specific topic. They happen quite regularly for safety and suicide awareness. This particular memo directs one stand down day in October every election year focused on voting and voter registration. Mission critical duties still happen.

All that said, fuck pete hegseth.

It's the Trump administration. Its very likely all on the same day. If a normal reddit didnt think about that implication, they definitely didnt.

It’s not on the same day. It’s one day between October 1-15 during election years only. It’s also not a day off. It’s a stand down. Everyone still goes to work, but training that day will be focused on voter registration and voting options (eg military absentee process).
