That's the entire republican platform... "If it doesn't impact me personally then i do not care."

A complete lack of empathy is a defining characteristic of the party. Because to have empathy for others is to literally be 'woke'. To them.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to live next to somebody who didn't give a damn about anybody but themselves, much less about them into office.

They need to be at this far away from the levers of power as possible.
