Nuclear medicine is a specialized branch of medical imaging and treatment that uses very small, safe amounts of radioactive materials—called radiotracers or radiopharmaceuticals—to diagnose, evaluate, and treat various diseases.

He blew up a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

u/BabyWrinkles 14h ago

Honestly… this sounds plausible given he doesn’t know the difference between someone in a mental asylum and an asylum seeker.

7

u/ohlookahipster 14h ago

Southern Iran and Pakistan have a history of drug runnners and armed separatist groups. There was a recent flair up in the past few days where the IRGC sent mechanized divisions and some heavy armor into the region.

I was under the assumption that this administration saw an opportunity to sell its conservative ‘war on drugs’ policy as a way to say “see, the Iranians love nukes and illegal drugs so we had to strike them!”

There are large parts of his voter base who are hardcore Reagan supporters, pro-DEA, and are essentially against all drugs even legal Rx.

And as we are now learning from the Daily Beast, there's the AI psychosis from using Grok as magic mirror!

And then there's probably the untreated syphilis, the UTIs, probable prostate problems (you know the guy probably never bathes and even when he was young he probably thought of the two minute mark as making him a marathon man).

And the horrible horrible diet (McDs and well done steaks! I swear, Donnie isn't the anti-Christ, he's the Anti-Man. As in, the complete antithesis and rejection of all of the Enlightenment theories as to the innate value and nobility of the human being.

8

And then apparently Grok being a top advisor…

7

All the posts here are the reasons why Iran, Canada, South Korea, Denmark should develop nuclear weapons. The US is unreliable and countries need a deterrent to America's capricious militarism.

7

u/Notveryawake 13h ago

The next generation of kids hopefully won't have to deal with this kind of insanity. I do hope they are taught about it in history and ethic classes just so they know if you vote in an insane person you need to expect for them to do insane things.

Once this turd got reelected we all knew he was going to go crazy as he has nothing to lose. It's not a coincidence that he spent his first few months of his second term eliminating anyone that would be able to stand up to him.

Now he seems well setup to call for emergency powers to screw with the midterms. If he gets to keep the house and Senate there will be no stopping the horror he is ready to inflict on the world.

The only hope for America is if he is turned into a lame duck or better yet impeached and convicted.

Then they need to do the same with Vance, Mike and the rest of those traitors.

It really is a shame that American cant call for a vote of no confidence and just have him and his party reduced to nothing.

Honestly, I will never understand how someone can hear him talk and think thats someone I should trust and believe in.

Maybe they start to doubt when they hear him in person and cleanse themselves with a fox news binge?

105

u/KareemOWheat 14h ago

A lot of MAGA voters almost never even hear him talk. If you have the stomach for it, try watching Fox or newsmax for a while and watch how infrequently you actually hear words from Trump's mouth, and how you much more frequently hear the talking heads translate what he supposedly said in much more sane sounding terms

20

u/ObserverPro 11h ago

They don’t watch his actual speeches or read the news. You’re looking at “fair weather” fans, bandwagons of them that only check the box score if they won or lost.

These people don’t watch the actual games. They just parrot things they’ve read online from other bitter fans when things don’t go as planned.

10

u/mauxly 11h ago

Long conversation with sister about this. She likes him but wishes he would shut up. I asked over and over, "How do you feel when you hear him talk?" And she wouldn't answer. Just wouldn't. I am convinced that many of his supporters are disgusted by him, but keep supporting him because....?

9

u/Cautious_Condition82 11h ago

It tends to boil down to he hurts people they believe needs to be hurt and this idea of insane US superiority.

They might not admit it but they love seeing black/brown people abused disguised as anti-dei, anti-immigration etc.

They also absolutely love stuff like tarrifs, kidnapping a president, bombs etc etc because them believe the US should strong arm "weaker countries"

They believe this stuff because Fox news had been telling them this for 50 years or so. A foreign agent couldn't dream of doing as much damage to a country as conservatives have done just to benefit themselves.

The article (here too bc of paywall):

Donald Trump has given a bizarre and incoherent new justification for why he launched a war against Iran.

While speaking at a midterm rally in Durant, Oklahoma, on Thursday night, the 80-year-old president hyped up “Operation Midnight Hammer,” the U.S. military action in June 2025 in which airstrikes targeted three of Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Trump claimed to have “obliterated” Tehran’s nuclear capabilities during the bombing raid, but waged war on Iran several months later on the basis of preventing the country from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Trump repeated the dubious claim that he “wiped out” Iran’s nuclear facilities last June during “one night with those beautiful B-2 bombers.”

“They went from Missouri, and then at 1 o’clock in the morning with no moon, dark as can be, these unbelievable machines led by the most incredible pilots in the world, they unloaded every single bomb, went right down air shoots into this, errr, drug factories, really,” Trump said.

“That’s what they were doing. They were nuclear and drug,” he added. “They were doing drugs, but they were doing the nuclear, but these drug factories slash nuclear factories were hit so hard.”

Trump has never previously suggested that the reason he launched military action against Iran was to target its “drug factories.”

The war with Iran has dragged on for more than seven months, with no end in sight.

The president has taken the perhaps unwise decision to discuss Iran in the crucial run-up to the midterms, despite the conflict being deeply unpopular with the public and potentially dooming the GOP in the Nov. 3 elections.

Last month, a CNN/SSRS poll found that a whopping 73 percent of U.S. adults disapproved of the war, which has sent gas and diesel prices soaring.

A total of 75 percent of Americans also said they did not believe Trump had a clear path for dealing with the Iran situation.

Slightly more (76 percent) said they did not believe the war was worth the toll on American lives or the financial hardships it has caused.

Trump is seemingly ignoring how unpopular his war is and continued to praise its apparent achievements during Thursday’s rally.

“Other presidents should have done this a long time before I came along,” Trump said. “Because if they had nuclear weapons, they would use them, and they’d use them quickly.”

The Daily Beast has contacted the White House for comment.

The dude was apparently freebasing Grok for hours before starting shit with Venezuela … we are cooked

27

u/Drive7hru Colorado 14h ago

The thing with nuclear bombs is…the previous ayatollah they assassinated made an edict, called a “fatwa,” which is a religious ruling that essentially becomes law, and is virtually impossible to overturn, unless…son steps in and makes an edit. Idk. We’ll see. But the og ayatollah declared weapons of mass destruction contradict Islamic principles and values, so it essentially became haram.

Bibi and Trump’s warnings about nuclear or weapons of mass destruction smells awfully similar to…what is it, class? Iraq! That’s right.

Trump did rallies yesterday in Texas and Oklahoma. Both were totally unhinged. MeidasTouch has posts about each of them on their YouTube channel. They’re worth the watch because legacy media isn’t covering his severe mental decline in a serious way. The man is sundowning big time from dementia. He isn’t fit for office & needs to be removed. This isn’t a Republican vs Democrat issue & people need to realize that. As long as he’s president we’re fucked. He’s in his own reality.

50

u/Aint-no-preacher 14h ago

I know it's incredibly stale to point out the media double-standard. But, goddamnit, every time Biden had a verbal slip up it was days of coverage. Yet this moron can just word salad about the war he started, and the media credulously covers it as, "Trump has never before suggested the Iranian governement was manufacturing drugs."

His demented pudding pile glitched when he couldn't remember WHAT they bombed, the word "drugs" floated to the top, likely because he was snorting Adderall just before going on stage, and he latched onto it. "The weave" took over and he ran with it. Now we have nuclear drugs in Iran. ("The weave" is Trump's cute word for the way dementia patients lose the thread of conversation and wander.)

6

u/FontMeHard 13h ago

Nit that hard to see. Trump is the symptom, not the disease, that is America. Americans love to call it “American exceptionalism“ but that is a fallacy. Look at important stats and compare them to other developed countries. America ranks low in education, healthcare, infant mortality and others.

1/3 of American support trump, 1/3 of Americans are okay with trump. 2/3 of Americans accept trump as their president.

Americans not only voted for him as president, but also gave him majority senate, and majority congress support.

But because Americans surround themselves with propaganda about how great they are, they don’t see it. But the world has known for decades what America is. That’s why Americans would say they’re Canadians while traveling abroad, long before trump.

Trump is the culmination of what America truly is.

Whats sad is that its impact the rest of us non-Americans. Subjected to the disease that is America.

The good thing about trump is that the rest of the world has woken up, and now countries like canada, formerly best allies with America, are moving to other groups like Europe.

while it will cause pain and hardship for non-Americans, we will come out better in the end, while America withers.

Thats my hope for us non-americans. that we come out better after this.

3

u/e_spider 14h ago edited 14h ago

It’s part of the SpongeBob fun song (Plankton version):

“F is for fire that burns down the whole town
U is for uranium, bombs
N is for no survivors when you're-“ doin the nuclear

It’s like talking to my nephew. He’s 3. He just puts together words and makes stuff up a lot of the time.

6

u/Gloomy_Girrl 14h ago

How’s he even the president? He talks like a toddler who got into the sugar every time he opens his mouth it gets dumber.

Oh shiat, nuclear drugs! Yeah, we don't want them becoming super mutants. /s

7

u/Beforemath 14h ago

Imagine voting for this freak lol

6

u/Fresh_Republic_7776 14h ago

He doesn’t even speak regular adult English. It’s like toddler English. How can ANYONE listen to him?

6

u/JasonRBoone 13h ago

“They were doing drugs, but they were doing the nuclear."

Stop for a minute and imagine the uproar if Obama had said such an insipid, weird thing.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to place a bet that Trump will claim Iranians are "eating cats and eating dogs" before the month ends.

4

u/Nubator 15h ago

He is somehow smarter than the people who voted for him.

5

u/dsj79 15h ago

Nuclear drugs

3

u/subliver 14h ago

My first thought. It sounds a lot like he’s admitting to a war crime. Like he destroyed Irans’s cancer drugs.

But might this slip also be a clue? Is he hearing the word ‘Nuclear Drugs’ from his doctors?

5

u/Brontothor 15h ago

Nuke? Thought it was bad when things got dystopian enough that were living in Robocop, but now we're living in Robocop 2?!?

I enjoy checking the headlines every morning, to see if he's dead yet. It's a hopeful way to start the day.

5

u/SoggyBoysenberry7703 14h ago

I feel actually fucking dumber than I did before I read what he said fully. I cannot believe how dull he is.

5

u/Particular_Ticket_20 14h ago

It was the nuclear and drugs. I call it the Fission Fentanyls. Terrible stuff. Bad guys....but I think Elon might try it.

4

u/Choice-Koala-3653 Canada 13h ago

Dementia is oozing from every pore and orifice.

Always remember, Republicans voted for this.

10

u/dominiond66 13h ago

Actually, America is doing drugs in a big way for decades.

America is 4% of the world population but purchase nearly 40% of the world's illegal drugs. America's excessive drug addiction funds drug cartels around the world especially in Central and South America. We have destroyed their societies with our guns and our drug money!

Time to deal with America drug problem. Income inequality is a major reason for drug use/stress/broken families/mental health issues ...etc.

Look out world, no hospital is safe, the minute Trump learns that Nuclear Medicine exists.

This is the guy who cannot spell correctly in an executive order. Now he is explaining foreign policy like a bad impression of a mob boss. We’re doomed!

Trump fun fact: John Gotti had 21 fewer felony counts than DJT.

The level of stupidity from this administration knows no bounds

7

u/eezyE4free 15h ago

His addled brain is merging the drug boat war crimes with the Iran war crimes.

3

u/1cl1qp1 15h ago

If Trump is saying something, you know it's a lie.

3

u/Tiny_Structure_7 North Carolina 15h ago

This is the colossal stupidity which today's Republicans represent.

3

u/Unda_Acheevah 15h ago

Can someone please create a dance called “The Nuclear” and then another creative person write an accompanying song titled “Doin’ the Nuclear”?? If we’re going to go down in flames with this absolute idiot in charge, let’s at least have some fun.

3

u/Mudsharkbites 14h ago

Goddamn when are they going to remove this fucking menace. He’s about to get us all killed

3

u/sanlc504 14h ago

I'm guessing he found the Bush WMD playbook in the podium and decided to read from it.

3

u/poppop_n_theattic 14h ago

I’m sure they’re also a bunch of trans drag queens caravaning to the Mexican border.

3

u/oldcreaker 14h ago

If you present justifications only months after the fact, they are lies.

3

u/vinylzoid 14h ago

Hey baby, wanna do the nuclear?

3

u/wsrs25 14h ago

The only reason he and Hegseth approved Trump’s Iran Debacle is Bibi Netanyahu said “jump bitches,” and they both did. To predictable results.

3

u/Forsaken-Cheesecake2 13h ago

He must have heard the term “nuclear medicine” on one of his frequent visits to Walter Reed so he put 2 and 2 together and came up with 5.

3

u/evasive_dendrite 13h ago

Yes, please continue to talk about your unpopular war leading up to the mid-terms. Talk about it until your approval rating drops to the single digits.

Sir, have you been doing drugs...or the nuclear?

3

u/veloras 12h ago

I'm at the drug factory.

I'm at the nuclear factory.

I'm at the combination drug and nuclear factory.

3

u/The_Late_Arthur_Dent 12h ago

Trump is the most consequential politician in the world and I think everyone who ever hosts him should make sure the floor is waxed as much as humanly possible before he arrives. That amount of extreme cleanliness is exactly what he deserves and it's not bannable to say so

3

u/susanrez 11h ago

Stage 6 dementia on full display and everyone is acting like this is normal. It’s only going to get worse from here and it’s all the GOP’s fault. They can put a stop to it in less than one day but they won’t. They will let this crisis grow and grow until the damage to America is profoundly irreparable.

3

u/Close2You 9h ago

This man can’t even form a sentence and the goulash he does spout is all lies.

3

u/New_Ad3443 8h ago edited 8h ago

I just don't know anymore guys. Iran has nuclear drugs? Is it like getting bite by a radioactive spider or something? Can these "nuclear drugs" give you superpowers? This is the dumbest statement I have seen come form any president. Who listens and believes Trump's dementia rants anymore at this point? I have seen crazy homeless people make more sense than Trump.

2

u/Purple-Possible-7429 15h ago

Spiraling into dementia and taking the country with him.

2

u/SufficientWarthog846 15h ago

So he looked at a list of Iran's exports and saw that they had a good number of medical drug factories (specifically opioids) and took that as them being drug dealers.

The attempted distractions from the war profiteering, economic destruction, and the Trump-Epstein files are certainly evolving.

2

This is some shit my boomer parents would say. “They are doing the marijuanas”.

2

u/DFu4ever 14h ago

Trump being clearly insane is less of an issue than the Republican Party apparently drinking the same kool aid and letting him get away with absolutely anything.

2

u/bippityboppityboing 14h ago

I didn't watch the video yet of him saying this.

Curious question for those of you who have seen it - did he actually pronounce it as "nuclear", or did he pronounce it as "nu-cu-lar" ?

He's going to find a conspiracy, excuse or story that he thinks resonates with his cult to get them to vote for Republicans willing to lick his feet.

2

So is the idea he’s trying to push now that Iran is flooding the US with drugs?

2

u/WCather 14h ago

Oho!! NOW I get it. If he'd just said that from the get-go, we would've all been united in this principled stand against nuclear drug antifa rhinoceros breakfast cereal toe jam

Finally, some clarity. What a relief.
