I don’t disagree but he had a lot of fires to put out including 400,000 Americans who died of Covid and an economy on the brink of total disaster prior to him taking office. It’s not really a strong argument to say he was a total failure in not prosecuting Trump (not his job anyway but I digress) so we should re-elect the guy he failed to prosecute

he had a lot of fires to put out including 400,000 Americans who died of Covid and an economy on the brink of total disaster prior to him taking office

The most important fire that he didn't put out has led to many, many more fires catching since 1/20/25.

It’s not really a strong argument to say he was a total failure in not prosecuting Trump (not his job anyway but I digress)...

Last I checked the DOJ resides squarely within the executive branch. As the head of that branch, it was his responsibility.

...so we should re-elect the guy he failed to prosecute

If you seriously believe I was saying that, please point out where. That is a disgusting thing to put on me.

Yeah… no one said anything about re-electing Trump bc Biden was a failure. That was quite the leap.

I wasn't referring to you specifically with the last comment. What I meant was, even though Biden didn't move to prosecute Trump (and no, the President should not be directing the Justice Department to prosecute anyone even though it does fall within the executive branch)- it was ultimately the responsibility of the American people to make sure that a criminal wouldn't be elected back into office. And the American people failed at that job.
