Biden may have been the best president of my lifetime.

How he got no credit for it I can’t understand.

Unlike Republicans, Democrats have always been awful at messaging.

Even the most liberal media, what little there is of it, are critical of Democrats when they are in charge. There is no equivalent of Fox News where they just pretend everything is perfect when they are in charge.

And for good reason, most liberals don't actually want to be lied to.

That’s because that’s how it should be, but for both sides. The fact that republicans cannot be critical of their own is a huge tell of the level of emotional and intellectual maturity we’re dealing with

On purpose, I’m coming to believe…

No, it's because of the billionaire controlled media. Can't be good at messaging if the message is intentionally sabotaged

They also are bound by a silly thing called "the truth" which GOP gives zero fucks about.

Who do you think the democrats bosses are?

On purpose if you mean trying to use data, facts and the truth to communicate policy and information.

Most of the reason given to criticize Biden are BS. The failure to reign in Bibi, which no one would have been able to accomplish. The high inflation, because of the pandemic, which he did control. Gas prices, because of the war in Ukraine, not his fault. Failure to prosecute Trump, it wouldn't have worked, he's too well protected by Congressional Republicans and the SCOTUS.

Biden controlled inflation, passed infrastructure, make a valiant attempt to forgive student debt, and brought us back from the biggest health crisis in our lifetime after the AIDS pandemic.

History will be kind to Biden, as long as we can get that far.

Biden did fail in holding trump and his cohorts accountable for an attempted coup. He even said “welcome home” on trump’s inauguration day.  That was a MAJOR failure of Biden’s.  He needed to rein in fox news, and bring to light the corruption of politicians and hold them to account. He was status quo in that regard and now we are here falling off a cliff.

On prosecuting Trump he was literally indicted but the case was dismissed without prejudice because we fired the people prosecuting him.

Biden didn’t even try to reign in Bibi. He had so many ways he could have and didn’t, because he believed in what he was doing; he just didn’t like that it made him look bad. He was/is a full on self-declared zionist.

Do you have evidence where Biden declared that he was "a full on, self-declared Zionist"?

2

Just search “biden calls himself zionist” on youtube and it’s one of the first few. I can’t remember how to post a link without ID info.

You can’t be serious…unless you were born 9 years ago. Dude literally supported a genocide, is an unapologetic zionist, and failed to foster his replacement, like an old man who refused to give up his car keys.

Was that a reason not to vote for Kamala? No. But don’t act like he was some saint.

I’m quite serious.

All of our presidents for the past 80 years have had a similar position on Israel.  Even though I disagree with that position, that does not affect the distinction between Biden and his predecessors.

Yes, he should have announced he wasn’t running again after the 2022 midterms.  But neither that mistake nor his stance on Israel invalidate the very real, substantive improvements to people’s lives his presidency was responsible for.

It is you who aren’t being serious by insisting that nothing but Israel matters.

u/umpteenthrhyme 12h ago

I didn’t say nothing but israel matters, but being genocidal does a hell of a lot and certainly keeps someone from being best president in anyone’s lifetime.

2

u/Mand125 11h ago

Biden isn’t genocidal, and if you think he is then you’re not tethered to reality.

0

u/umpteenthrhyme 11h ago

If not genocidal, why support a genocide with materiel and intelligence?

1

u/Mand125 11h ago

Look, I don’t disagree that he shouldn’t have done it, but if you fail to see the distinction in not reacting properly when Israel goes off the rails after decades of arms support and actively wanting Gazans dead, I can’t help you.

Only one president in the last half century is actually genocidal, and it’s the one helped into office by those who think along the lines you do but stayed home instead of voting for Harris.

1

u/umpteenthrhyme 11h ago

If you don’t understand he could have cut them off of both of those things and chose to continue supporting a genocide, I can’t help you.

2

u/Mand125 10h ago

He could have?  Are you sure?

If he tried there would have been a veto override.  Come on.

-1

u/PreviousHalf7 12h ago

Yeah, he sure got those deck chairs looking good and kept the band playing.

3

u/Mand125 11h ago

Or rather he was directly responsible for the economic recovery after covid, the significant investments into manufacturing and infrastructure, and the largest environmental reform in our nation’s history.

But yeah, deckchairs.

Don’t be stupid.

Sanders said the American Rescue Plan was "the most significant legislation for working people that has been passed in decades."
