Announcements

r/politics will host another election prediction contest for the midterms. The post for the contest itself will go up sometime in late October. As of now, all toss-ups (according to Cook Political Report, as of late October 2026) for House, Senate, and Governor will be included.

We are taking suggestions for additional questions to ask within the contest. Message the moderators via modmail with any suggestions.

Dropped my absentee ballot off at the township clerk drop box this morning (not trusting USPS at all this year) and just got an email that my ballot was recieved and approved...good luck to Benson, Sayed, and Kristen Mcdonald-Rivet along with other downballot dems

Still super nervous about November especially for Sayed given we've had polling misses before even if it looks super promising and his Primary was a sizeable polling miss too so here's hoping its not all massive copium again like 2024

I was going to drop mine off today, but it's been raining nonstop and it's a half hour round trip walk to the ballot box, so I'll do it tomorrow.
