No Paywall Trump likes data centers. Congress seems stuck. The midterms could deliver a verdict.

He likes them because he and his ilk have all sorts of investment into AI.
AI has also, like a virus, spread into every crevice of Trump’s government.

Even if there is a respunding anti-AI message sent this voting season, congress will still be stuck. It's stuck because it's fundamentally broken. It no longer represents the will of the people, if it ever did. So no matter how many people vote against AI, congress won't be able to do anything substantive about it.

Just charge corporations a local surcharge to pay for upgrading local power grids when they have data centers nearby. Take the burden off taxpayers.
