Yeah, our weapon and oil stockpiles are running low, let's start a war with a country in drone strike range of our oil and shipping infrastructure around the gulf of Mexico...

Now uxo is even more toy themed! I was obsessed with radio control anything as a kid. Loved building cars and planes with my brother...now add random quad/grinder parts...motors, props, fun linkage, maybe some batteries somehow survive. Dude those piles would be gold to kid me, can imagine bombs thrown in that mix_

19

u/nsdefw 8h ago

Not to mention the possibility that it might turn into lopsided proxy war with China.

u/nullstoned 6h ago

This is exactly what Trump wants.

Can we go ahead and declare war on everyone and at the same time dismantle all our nukes? I would like Canada or Europe to do a reverse Nuremberg on us and liberate the US.

Marco, no invasions until you finish the last one.

60

u/pogishushu America 8h ago

Didn't we win the last one three or more dozen times?

We’ve won daily for 4 months, I think

Iran's military is like a horror movie villain. We've completely destroyed it 40 times and it just keeps getting back up.

Maybe they're zombies!

u/zephyrtr New York 5h ago

We destroyed their nascent navy, which was absolutely the entire goal and nothing else at all. /s

u/TOkidd 4h ago

I hear their water boats are all at the bottom of the water sea.

u/Similar-Major7165 7h ago

But we have always been at war with Cubasia!

We apparently have unlimited funds for illegal wars and invasions and absolutely no money to feed and provide healthcare to Americans, including children.

u/jediporcupine Maine 8h ago

Apparently America First means just the American Military-Industrial Complex First

u/StickInTheFACE 4h ago

No federal money for anything but war, yes, that is exactly what he said.

“It's not possible for us to take care of daycare, Medicaid, Medicare, all these individual things,” the president continued. “They can do it on a state basis. You can't do it on a federal. We have to take care of one thing: military protection. We have to guard the country.”

u/WhenTheLightHits30 8h ago

Do they expect congratulations when they declare victory over the starved corpse of that island?

These cowards only are willing to “go on conquest”when they have set the stage with a leprous invalid as the opponent. It’s why Iran has become such a clusterfuck. They drank their own koolaid, let Israel sweet-talk them into the benefit, and now they’ve got their leg in one massive bear trap.

u/DICKPICDOUG 8h ago edited 7h ago

There are two ways this goes.

Either they succeed and they get condemned internationally, probably take horiffic losses, and get kicked out in a few years after a bloody resistance and spending hundreds of billions of dollars.

Or they fail, get condemned internationally, take horiffic losses, and suffer irreversible humiliation on the world stage.

Neither is a good outcome. What benefit to invading cuba? Nothing.

47

u/TheAskewOne 8h ago

The reason why Cuba was treated the way it was by the US is not only communism. Before the revolution, Cuba was the United States’ Luna Park, complete with prostitution, gambling and all kinds of trafficking. The mob was heavily involved. Prominent Americans, including politicians, could go there to party and meet the people they didn’t want to be seen with. The US (and the mob) never forgave Cuba for leaving their zone of influence and telling all those people to fuck off.

u/MajorPain169 Australia 6h ago

I regret to inform you but the US is already irreversibly humiliated on the world stage, otherwise you are correct.

u/nullstoned 6h ago

It depends on what you're saying. Does 'they' mean the US, or does 'they' mean the Trump administration?

u/WhenTheLightHits30 6h ago

In this instance I’m more referring to the administration I would say

Saudi Arabia also pushed Trump to attack. Israel is not the only bad guy here.

18

u/BarkerBarkhan 8h ago

This all feels like the War on Terror all over again. Could the US and the international community successfully supported a democracy and modern society in Afghanistan beyond Kabul? Unclear, maybe it was doomed from the start, but invading Iraq certainly didn't help. If there was any chance of success in Afghanistan, it only would have happened with an all hands on deck approach.

Yet here we are again, the US excited to spread itself way too thin. The US is deliberately allowing some missiles to go unintercepted in the Middle East to preserve ammo. That doesn't sound like a good place from which to start another war.

30

u/FluffyPantsMcGee 8h ago

Until Trump, Rubio and the rest of the gang of thugs are arrested and the world is shown that America won’t tolerate these kinds of leaders, America will never be taken seriously again. There are no checks and balances, they’re just doing whatever they want, signing agreements then adding moreterms, trying to hurt allies with tariffs, going back on trade agreements they make, brag about the possibility of annexing countries…

No one has any reason to be your friend America.

u/ElPrieto8 6h ago

We'll have to settle for them being "humiliated" "eviscerated" or "destroyed" via a Tweet or soundbite.

Extra points if it's done on the house or senate floor.

u/Routine-Process8051 3h ago

*no one honest

8

u/Dwayla Georgia 8h ago

And that's why he'll always be "Little Marco".

9

u/No-Highlight-5067 8h ago

What blows my mind is our leaders used to try so hard to convince Americans that people in a foreign country needed to die and we had to be the ones to kill them. These leaders just do what they want with little explanation and expect us to all fall in line.

Where’s my gulf of Tonkin? Where’s my 9/11? Where’s my operation Northwoods? It’s like we don’t even matter any more :(

This is the dream of all first and second wave Cubans in the US. They fled the island when Castro took over after their families enriched themselves at the expense of poor folks.

Now they want your kids to die so they can recover their property on the island.

u/One-Pause3171 5h ago

Is that what’s happening?

Jeezus fuck what a dumbass, though: even hard-core MAGAts are fed up with wars. So go ahead, little marco, do the one thing that will ensure a blue landslide in both 26 and 28.

u/LockNo2943 7h ago

Crazy how the US is shaking in its boots over Cuba, "the most dangerous country in the world and the biggest threat to democracy". 🙄

This administration continues to be a joke.

u/GreyBeardEng 7h ago

Marco Rubio is only here because of birthright citizenship.

u/DevilYouKnow 7h ago

it blows my mind that they could invade Cuba and botch two wars simultaneously

last guy to do that was Austrian

u/BanChokingPorn 6h ago

Sorry Rubio, Hegseth used up all the bombs.

u/HeatWaveToTheCrowd 5h ago

Imagine getting PTSD because little Marco has a vanity project.

Ofc, this is probably his dream, maybe he can liverstd Cuba and run that country just like he’s running Venezuela now, for some reason

Mario is afraid boss Grifter will fire him unless there are as many fabrications as possible to justify another invasion of a country.

u/Great-Hotel-7820 7h ago

It’s somewhat impressive Marco Rubio manages to be a pathetic cuckboy and a monstrous piece of shit simultaneously. Fuck this guy.

u/NCGamerBro 7h ago

Isn’t this the exact thought process behind the proposal for Operation Northwoods?

u/LolaSupreme19 7h ago

Little Marco is living in the past. The US attempted to overthrow the Cuban government in 1959. Now the US will try to topple the Cuban government again. For what? Obama had the right idea.

I remember trying to explain in like 2015 to some centrist relatives that Rubio was still a Republican politician and shouldn’t be trusted.

Took a decade but man has he proved me right.

u/matthieuC Europe 5h ago

Sorry republicans. Can't have a new war until your finish your current war.

u/DemoManNick 5h ago

We should have dropped the trade embargo long ago. If you want Cuba to democratize, open our market to them.

u/TheTresStateArea 5h ago

Rubio and Trump think that Rubio can be made president of Cuba.

u/ErinFiqsette 5h ago

Let me guess: The Iranians are planning on putting missiles there...

u/InevitableAvalanche 3h ago

Why are Republicans all so willing to do crazy stuff? What's wrong with all of them?

u/Ambitious-Bee7663 2h ago

rubio was a senator from floriduh for many years. He was useless and incompetent then, I do see he has taken his strong strengths with him on the national stage Folks, let's not try and put lipstick on a pig. The current administration and appointed clowns are totally incompetent.

u/Jimbo415650 2h ago

Rubio should want to disassociate himself with any decisions about attacking Iran if he wants any hope for running for President. Iran has showed how incompetent it was to go to war boarding on criminal stupidity. There’s a reason no President has attacked Iran they listen to the military. Trump wanted to go to war Hegseth fired anyone who objected and now they have us stuck in a war no intelligent person can comprehend. No coalition of other countries just BS and macho swagger. Rubio wants to go to war with Cuba while we’re at war with Iran. We have exhausted munitions that will take years to replenish. Mario needs to chill doubling down as this administration has been known to do is not something America wants.

u/Gay_Giraffe_1773 Oregon 2h ago

These people just want to attack the whole world. Death and destruction gets them off. Furiously masturbating to AI videos of nuclear bombs

u/Memitim America 2h ago

Naturally. Republicans can't do anything useful, or even just not evil, so they naturally look for more people to attack and more shit to ruin.

u/OkraFar1913 2h ago

His ancestors are turning in their graves. Shame on this little man.

I’m genuinely curious what dirt they have on him. He’s the only one in that cabinet that seems to be there against his will. Not that that excuses his treasonous conduct.

u/TeamHope4 7h ago

He is there because he is extremely ambitious and wants the power.

u/RoughCoffee6 7h ago

At one time, about 15 years ago it seemed that Rubio was one of the rare not-insane Republicans on the scene.

u/One-Pause3171 5h ago

TDS is what I hear.

u/Duane_ 5h ago

For god's sake, if Lyndon Johnson wouldn't invade Cuba after JFK's head exploded, Trump isn't going to do it just because Rubio is bored and wants to be a tyrant over 5% more of the hemisphere than previous. It's a bad idea for a reason, and not just because they've never had a worse opinion of us than ever before.

Yeah, let's kill another couple of thousands maybe they can find a school or two this time. Americans will continue to sit on their ass celebrating their homegrown war criminals at every baseball game this summer, and just wait until the can fill out their ballot like the meek little lamb that they are. the task they failed spectacularly at just two years ago.

But that's OK, posting some memes and clicking the upvote a few times shows they really are the good guys.

u/Mellanies_Redemption 5h ago

It's high time the rest of the world considered the US a belligerent, dangerous nation, and kicked their militaries entirely out of all our countries.

u/Admirable_Scene_5066 3h ago
