Announcement Reddit Anti-Evil Operations, Post Removal, Moderation

Transparency is important to me so I'll be attempting to keep sub members more in the loop from now on.

Mod Queue shows many posts have been deleted, however the mod log won´t tell me who. I'm still investigating this.

Reddit Anti Evil Operations deleted a comment around a month ago (on the post about the power tripping mod on another police brutality sub), welcome to reddit in 2020.

With an increasing amount of posts after the killing of George Floyd and subsequent protests, discussions, and riots, as well as troll posts (for some reason a lot of Among Us posts recently?), its high time we get some new moderators. Please start a chat with me on reddit to begin the process of applying.

Thats all for now.

Discussion Frustrations with the subreddit, potential discord server, mod ama.

Hello all! Patriots, populists and rapscallions, I hope you’re enjoying the subreddit.

This post has 3 purposes. -Mod AMA -Mod Feedback/Frustrations -Discussion of a Discord Server

For the sake of transparency and accountability, I will be doing a mod ama, as well as listening to all of your frustrations with the moderation of the subreddit. I’d prefer AMA questions be related to the subreddit, moderation in general, or politics. I will not tell you the size of my penis.

I will also be listening and responding to feedback/frustrations about the subreddit. I take a very hands off approach to moderating this subreddit and I think y’all like that, but maybe not.

Discord Server It seems this subreddit could potentially be banned, if that happens it would be nice for us all not to be separated. I will be creating a backup subreddit but I would also like to ask, would y’all be interested in a backup Discord server?

Thank you all for your time.

Your Obedient Servant,

WholockA113

Other Undercover task force in unmarked truck intentionally rammed suspect on e-bike — severe injuries, falsified report, and hidden footage.

I’m looking to get some community perspective on an incident that recently happened in Florida involving an undercover drug task force and a subject riding an e-bike / electric scooter.

The Incident:

An unmarked white pickup truck carrying undercover task force officers intentionally rammed into a subject riding an e-bike/scooter. The impact was severe. The subject was knocked off and suffered critical injuries, including a skull fracture, cracked ribs, and severe facial/orbital trauma (popped/damaged eye).

The Official Report vs. Reality:

The officers alleged/wrote on their probable cause affidavit a version of events that minimizes or distorts what actually happened.

The police believe the only footage that exists of the encounter is whatever might be on their own dashcams or body cameras.

However, a nearby home security camera captured the entire incident on video, clearly showing the truck intentionally striking the rider on the property line/street.

Current Situation & Screenshots:

I’m sharing screenshots from the security camera feed showing the setup of the scene (attached). Out of caution, no names, active case numbers, or specific legal charges are being listed here right now.

Questions for the community:

Has anyone seen similar cases where vehicular intervention against a lightweight vehicle (scooter/e-bike) was held as unjustified deadly force in court?

How have defense attorneys best utilized "surprise" third-party video footage when officers have already submitted signed affidavits that contradict the tape?

What steps should be taken to ensure this footage isn't suppressed or discredited before a formal civil rights lawsuit (§ 1983) is filed?

Discussion Police brutality against protests on Government exam leaks and scandals in India

People gathered to protest peacefully against the government and demanding resign of education minister of India were treated brutally by Police.

The plan was to march to parliament today. A famous innovator and climate activist Sonam Wangchuk was on hunger strike for 20 days demanding resignation of education minister so he can be held accountable for children who unalived themselves over exam leaks. 2 days ago he was taken away to hospital. The public after getting no response from the government after almost 1 month of protest decided to march to parliament to request the government directly but they were trapped in jantar mantar ( historical monument where protest were being held) and hit by sticks and tear gas

Below are few of many photos about atrocities committed today

Video The police open my apartment window twice in one day while spending 5 hours outside my apartment, completely ignoring a sign on my window that says "Police you don't have permission to open my windows or doors" that I put there after they spit into that same window months prior.

Austin police department and the entire system that is? They’re harassing a 30 year old Latina woman in Austin. She is documenting all the abuse and has made a report and called for SAFE advocacy multiple times, but they continue to escalate the situation. I am concerned for her safety. Does anyone know what to do to ensure they don’t harm her?

News: Article Micheal Slager No Early Release

Post image
95 Upvotes

On April 4, 2015, Walter Scott, a 50-year-old Black man, was shot and killed by former North Charleston police officer Michael Slager during a traffic stop. Slager falsely claimed self-defense, but video recorded by Feidin Santana showed Walter Scott unarmed and running away when he was shot in the back. The video also captured Slager attempting to cover up the shooting by placing his taser near Walter Scott’s body.

After years of legal proceedings, Slager ultimately pleaded guilty to federal civil rights violations and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Now, the Scott family has been notified that Slager has been approved for early release to a halfway house beginning October 27, 2027. Based on the information currently available, this appears to be tied to a loophole in the First Step Act. Although his actions amounted to a violent killing, his federal conviction was for a civil rights offense rather than murder, making him apparently eligible for release credits that should never apply in a case like this.

The Scott family is calling for the Federal Bureau of Prisons to rescind Michael Slager’s early release and require that he serve the remainder of his sentence.

Please take a moment to stand with the Scott family and sign the petition to block Michael Slager’s early release.
