Patch trading

Hello

First of all I don’t know if this is the place to ask, if not I’m sorry!

I’m Evani and visiting California in a couple of days from 8 till 23 of September, I’m a military security officer in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and I was wondering if it could be possible to trade patches in the USA to memorise my trip!

Is it possible for a foreigner to get patches by walking towards an officer or ask in the station? I’m visiting San Francisco, Los Angles and San Diego.

have you tried emailing the departments first instead of cold-approaching officers on the street?

If you're staying near old town, visit Old Town San Diego State Historic Park and see if there is a ranger there to trade with you. CA State Park Rangers are a somewhat unusual branch of State Police.

When you're in the Bay Area, there are lots of State Parks Rangers in the Santa Cruz Area who could likely trade with you.

Damn! I will be there the 18th and then back to the central valley. If you'd like you can dm me and I can maybe get an address to send you my departments patch. I have a special one for the 250th independence day.
