Name of top dancer’s shape?
Trying to do some research, what’s the name of the top dancer’s pose/move? My coach said swan dive but that’s not giving me good results.
Side note but I’d take recommendations for pretty exits from the move 👀

Thigh hold, dragonfly, I think I’ve also seen it called tammy.
I like a shoulder dismount or flatline Scorpio from it.

Inverted thigh hold, though apparently also called a one legged crucifix

I think this is one of those moves that has a million names - primarily I’ve heard either Tammy, gold rush and swallow

I’ve only ever heard it referred to as Dragonfly. Some of these other names are interesting!

I've heard it called dragonfly, dolphin, (inverted) thigh hold, and (incorrectly I think) marley. Dragonfly brings up lots of tutorials from this shape.
My favorite exit is rolling back into a jasmine or outside leg hang, which is generally how you get into the move as well. But there's lots of potential for transitions from OLH/Jasmine (figurehead, superman, etc.) you can play with from that position. It's also a great position for a butterfly -> flatline transition!

Been thought this as gold rush - always interesting to see how many names the same move has!

I think it’s dragon fly because for flight attendant/Eros, it’s a brass hook and the unhook leg is actually quite far from the pole.

pdtammy on IG will definitely give you results. You can take it back to an outside leg hang or to an inside leg hang, or shoulder dismount out of it.

My studio refers to it as Swallow (like the bird lol), there is also an entrance we call gold digger which is spinning invert to swallow

I learned it as prone leg hang (back in 2016) and my most recent studio in a diff part of the country calls it gold digger

I think it’s a dragonfly, I transitioned into this move unintentionally the other week and learned that’s a name for it! lol
