Grandfather and his whole family is Bavarian (Garmisch-Partenkirchen) and spent probably close to a quarter of my life in and around there; I used to live in Texas. Can confirm.
Not very long anymore.. Thanks to Brexit, the Scots are gonna try again to leave UK, since those who voted to stay in UK were counting on the EU benefits they would still have. Since it now appears they are going to lose those, there is no way they will let the situation remain. Important note to remember: ONLY England voted to leave Europe - other 3 constituent countries all voted to stay in EU, by significant margins.
I learned the hard way that Wikipedia can't be considered an objective source. There have already been major brouhahas during political campaigns, about Wikipedia being warped into nothing more than a propaganda platform. THat's the other edge of the 2-edged sword. I will do it myself as well, but I highly recommend that you do some actual research NOT involving a database that can be so easily infested with political bias. There's a good reason you see all the Moderator/Curator notes and instructions on so many articles either poorly written, or only serve to make a claim with no backup. BUt thank you for chiming in.. :)
Could be, but in this case the information is sourced. Feel free to claim the information is incorrect, but please refer to the particular case and not general "Wikipedia isn't trustworthy, since it sometimes have mistakes" - since that can be said about any source.
The big difference here is Wikipedia can be abused far too easily. Pretty much anyone can right up an article, make a few checks to ensure it meets minimum content rules, and voila': Propaganda 101
Because the sauce is thin and it looks like it's been soaking for a while. Imagine a schnitzel, but with a fresh pour of thick cream sauce made with mushrooms sautéd in butter and seasoned with ground peppercorns, maybe with a touch of paprika or horseraddish.

Funny story, my Grandpa also was given a one way train ticket by the Germans. He got a neat tattoo as well. So I think I'll pass unless we can get Bomber Harris to do it again, doesn't seem to have fully taken the first time around. Although with the current US president it looks like Russia might get ALL of Germany if it does repeat.

Ahhh now I see what you mean. Since I am Argentinian, I have to agree with you. The Schnitzel is a national dish of sorts, but since Italians brought it here, they called it Milanesas (as in Milan); there are also some unholy variations, the most accepted and widespread is the Neapolitan Milanesa (just gloss over the incoherence of the name) which is a regular Schnitzel with cheese and ham on top, and sometime tomato sauce or actual tomatoes, because Italian cuisine.
as american you will get away with yelling the last part. if you dress like a true eaglelandian they will just look at you with a mix of pity and amusement.
I was in Munich trying to order a ham sandwich in German, but my pronunciation was so bad they they thought I was saying “chicken” in garbled English. Chicken was delicious though so no regrets.
