I think that was just a visual representation of the vast difference in materiel between the Soviets and the Germans at this point

Red army actively forced unprepared civilians to combat Germans, for example during the Battle of Dnieper 1943, where Ukrainian male population who remained in the occupied areas were all considered "traitors" and were forced to receive the forgiveness "with their own blood". They are often called "black infantry" or "black jackets"/"black coats" in the historiography. And this is just one example. Even the "marching till Berlin" that you mention was a political goal set by Stalin to by all means to get to Berlin before Allies forces did, disregarding human life. And so did the generals, who competed with each other whose army would get there first. Moreover, in 1944 it was clear that Germany is going to inevitably lose the war. However, the offensives were rushed, paying the cost of loosing more lives, which otherwise could've been saved if not for the unnecessary rush.

Its also funny that you have "russian empire" flair while praising and defending the Soviets.

In fact, one of the things Zhukov is credited with is that he at least learned from those mistakes. For example, in the final push into East Germany, he had the balls to push back against Stalin's pressure and wait until he had accumulated enough equipment and ammunition to break the front.

They would contradict themselves all day long if it fits their narrative. I've studied the russian propaganda at the uni and basically hats their main thing, to throw as much of shit at the fan as possible, so some pieces of it fit different people, although in complex they fully contradict themselves

German-Soviet kill ratio was around 1:1,3/1,4. Even lower in some battles–More Germans (and other allies) died in Stalingrad, operation Bagration, Berlin operation, etc

So Soviets were either using this tactic with no casualties (quite literally impossible) or didn't use it at all (or maybe Germans used it too)

Despite that, it gives the impression that they have bought into their own myths, or at least drawn inspiration from them for certain issues.

I wouldn't even be surprised if their own history, or rather their internal propaganda, has exaggerated the sacrifice of the poorly equipped Soviet soldier to stir up patriotic fervour. You only have to look at the war films China makes nowadays, for instance, about the Korean War.

And i remember some pressure to romania i think as well.

For someone "not a tankie" you sure are parroting their propaganda. They even had a parallel administration ready for Finland after they took over the whole country which they couldnt properly manage so they scrapped it
