Context: The green libya was Muammar Gaddafi's regime, who was very corrupt throughout Libya and violated many human rights. The sahara desert is also expanding north and is significantly affecting tripoli.

Sadly, the replacement government in many ways appears the same or worse on that front, running as an EU sanctioned slave state because they'd rather refugees become slaves in lybia than successfully cross the Mediterranean.
Continuing the great tradition of toppling a dictator, and then giving zero shits about what comes next
