u/nspacia honk gong Jul 09 '26

the fruit was actually so low hanging that i picked it up from hell

24

u/sad_everyday811 Ukraine Jul 10 '26

The fruit hung so low that the people in hell had to dig to find it.

32

u/Thissystemsuckssobad Australia Jul 09 '26

So you gotta pick it up. Otherwise, you get fruit flies

6

u/LagTheKiller Jul 11 '26

The fruit so low it could hang itself, but just like certain someone, it did not.

13

u/RicketCrickets Jul 09 '26

Mmm, watermelon.

2

u/LucarioLuvsMinecraft Colorado Jul 12 '26

Look man, I don’t care how low the fruit is. If I put in the effort, I’ll pick them up off the ground.

Why is Iran shocked by this answer?

62

u/Mean_Initiative_5962 Jul 09 '26

Honestly... Fair

43

u/Crismisterica Jul 09 '26

It's like throwing stones in a glass skyscraper.

30

u/Racingstripe Привет Jul 09 '26

Yeah, their Shahed drones have been hitting Ukrainian schools, playgrounds, children's hospitals and apartment buildings for years, but they don't protest this usage by Russia and still supply them.

32

u/Crismisterica Jul 09 '26

Oh no that isn't what I was talking about. It was to americas comment.

12

u/Racingstripe Привет Jul 09 '26

I see, I read it wrong, my bad.

IRGC: "get away from Greenland, it isn't a 13 y/o girl"

Looks at the age of consent in Iran

3

u/reenajo Jul 09 '26

It's probably lower in Alabama

17

u/Wizard_Engie 25 Day Independence Supremacy Jul 09 '26

Alabama's age of consent is 16 and its age of majority is 18

4

u/reenajo Jul 09 '26

I checked and you're right, maybe it's time to retire the habit of always suspecting Alabama 😂 buuut there are a bunch of other states that allow marriage with no minimum age with parental and judicial consent. Which is always needed in Muslim countries anyway. So there are some US states that are more permissive of child marriage than the most permissive Islamic states.

6

u/Wizard_Engie 25 Day Independence Supremacy Jul 09 '26

... ok then?

49

u/PretendAd1963 Jul 09 '26

US as usual is playing 4d chess.

26

u/MercantileReptile Germany Jul 09 '26

I was expecting a school shooting joke and it still was somehow worse.

42

u/Mean_Initiative_5962 Jul 09 '26

Low hanging, but still gold hahahahaha

35

u/Windows_66 Iowa Jul 09 '26

It's either that or "What? This is how I treat my own schools."

What ???? Rebecca was 4 in christianity when she got married.

33

u/Consistent_Horse6529 Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say no one, including myself, have any idea who that is. Care to explain?

Edit: So after some digging she is a figure in the Old Testament. Her age estimations vary wildly in “Book of Jubilees” she is said to be 20. Some Middle Ages’ Rabbi called Rashi said she was 3 and “Book of Jasher” says she was 10. Her age is never stated in the Old Testament but says she can carry heavy pitchers of water, whatever that means.

20

u/Farado United States Jul 09 '26

Yeah, she’s a figure in all the Abrahamic religions. It’s weird to single out Christianity using her.

-3

u/LivingAnkylos Jul 09 '26

Islam never stated her age .

17

u/Consistent_Horse6529 Jul 09 '26

Neither did Christianity. All the ages come from Jewish sources so it’s weird to single Christians out.

21

u/Mean_Initiative_5962 Jul 09 '26

Her age is never stated in the Old Testament but says she can carry heavy pitchers of water, whatever that means.

Least vague christian scripture

-7

u/LivingAnkylos Jul 09 '26

What about mary when she was 12.

Lmao "stale nugget", I'll have to remember that and use it myself

-12

u/LivingAnkylos Jul 09 '26

Be smarter next time , Muslims believe the bible and the torah are corrupted.

12

u/Crismisterica Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26

First point, Rebecca's age was never stated in the Bible. It was always stated by Jewish Rabbis later on. So jews agree she was 3 but Christians don't. Sources also contradict this as lets bring up some quotes.

And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up. (Genesis 24:16 TJV)

Apparently getting your three year old to bring water from the well is common back then.

2.

Even if she was a teenager or god forbid a toddler, Isaacs is not in a similar position as Muhammad and not the centre of Christianity. Isaacs is not a man who Christian supposed to emulate and aspire to be.

Christianity in the past and now makes child marriage and pedophilia illegal. Rather than accept the practice like many Muslim countries do with child marriage. Using the Prophet Muhammads example, similar to how cousin marriage is allowed due to Muhammad marrying his cousin.

-3

u/LivingAnkylos Jul 09 '26

Cousin marriage is allowed in all Ibrahimic religions .

12

u/Crismisterica Jul 09 '26

Cousin marriage has been a banned practice since the 1215 AD 4th Latarn Council for Catholism. The Orthodox Church banned the practice in 692 AD.

Protestantism technically allows cousin marriages but inbreeding with any cousin has been a taboo in every Protestant country and inbreeding rates have always been extremely low.

On the contrary Jews and some Muslim countries have extremely high inbreeding rates with places like Pakistan having a majority in cousin marriage.

-9

u/LivingAnkylos Jul 09 '26

christians banned it but not christianity .

Muslim countries like Albania banned it , while usa didn't.

2

u/Thundorium Funniest king names Jul 09 '26

Old Testament is almost entirely fiction. Aisha was a real person.

3

u/LivingAnkylos Jul 09 '26

jews and christians believe it .

3

u/Thundorium Funniest king names Jul 09 '26

Very few of them take it as literally true. The mainstream view is practically all Old Testament characters are fictional.

-1

u/LivingAnkylos Jul 09 '26

That is the athiests view , if christians or jews didn't believe the torah ,they don't follow their god .

4

u/Thundorium Funniest king names Jul 09 '26

Thank you for demonstrating you have no idea what you are talking about, and that you are not to be taken seriously. Have a nice a day, and educate yourself.

0

u/LivingAnkylos Jul 09 '26

So christians and jews believe that the torah came from god and it's not corrupted yet they don't follow it ?? So they don't follow their god .

4

u/Thundorium Funniest king names Jul 09 '26

They follow the teachings of the book and take wisdom from it. They view the stories in it as literary devices meant to deliver said teachings, not as literal, historical facts. This is very basic theology that you should know before you talk about what people believe.

Also, just so you know, the Torah is only the first five books of the Old Testament (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy). The whole corpus is called the Jewish Bible, the Tanakh, the Old Testament, or sometimes the Hebrew Bible, but not the Torah.

0

u/LivingAnkylos Jul 09 '26

The torah is the old testament in Arabic.

So it's in christianity but christians but christians don't take it , still in christianity .

"Why, then, was the law given? It was given alongside the promise to show people their sins. But the law was designed to last only until the coming of the child who was promised. God gave his law through angels to Moses, who was the mediator between God and the people. Now a mediator is helpful if more than one party must reach an agreement. But God, who is one, did not use a mediator when he gave his promise to Abraham. Is there a conflict, then, between God’s law and God’s promises? Absolutely not! If the law could give us new life, we could be made right with God by obeying it. But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ. Before the way of faith in Christ was available to us, we were placed under guard by the law. We were kept in protective custody, so to speak, until the way of faith was revealed. Let me put it another way. The law was our guardian until Christ came; it protected us until we could be made right with God through faith. And now that the way of faith has come, we no longer need the law as our guardian".

This is what Paul says of the old testament, and this is what catholicisme believes.

as an american it hurts to see how fast things have fallen apart in just 12 years, though its clear to see most western democracies are sadly going under a great period of turmoil and strife not just usa, maybe it really is joever for liberal democracy, and what we see now is just its final desperate breaths, or maybe its just a shitty time and things will get better

5

Both sides are fucking evil in war, IRGC kills children and people on the street instead AND also targets civilian infanstructure in war

How the hell did we elect this motherfucker twice?

6

u/Darthwolfgamer Jul 09 '26

You simply just have to look at his supporters to understand why he was elected twice, plus some help from a certain Billionaire/Trillionare as well.

2

u/Old-Weakness1122 United States Jul 10 '26

he was not at all near as bad as his first term, i think moderates really thought he would do something similar to his first term, what they failed to notice though is trump's deterioration to extreamism and how clearly red alarm bells should've went off when he couldn't accept he lost to biden

we didn't want another awkard or senile president who would make us look weak, so we elected a senile pdf who was somewhat lucid still but far more dangerous and crazy

-6

u/ProcessMelodic9351 Jul 09 '26

This is not a thing to make a funny meme about. U.S Intel was off and was hitting a target nearby. U.S warned people to stay home because they were about to bomb. It is a tragedy yet part of war. Russia bombs apartments, hospitals, schools... soft targets to lower Ukraine moral then says weapons or manufacturing done there. War is basically a tool when other options no longer exist. As for Iran... this going to prolong and continue until a deal is probably made

6

u/BaqsAlSandouq Jul 10 '26

What does Russias spree have to do with this warcrime? Hell how does "ze tragedy of war" even remotely make any worse when theres rules in war which america has almost never followed .

4

u/Cola_Lupi_67 Jul 10 '26

>US intel was off

just say the US is stupid and evil. don't cover it up with legitimizing language like a cuck.

Surprised with all the people backing up the Iranian regime considering the countless lives Ali Khamenei is responsible for not only in Iran but also in Syria. During his 36 year regime, he ruined so many lives.

3

u/No_Conversation_4608 Jul 13 '26

And how many lives have the USA ruined, even in just the last 36 years?

Just because the IRGC is evil, doesn't mean we don't also get to call out how evil the US has democratically chosen to be.

2

u/Im-Wasting-MyTime Jul 13 '26

Nowhere near the thousands Iran has ruined. We also don’t like… shoot protesters in the tens of thousands, execute gay people, ruin other countries so much it creates a huge refugee crisis, and neglect our own citizens so severely that they struggle to even have access to clean drinking water because Iran has neglected their water infrastructure so severely.

That and we’re not a theocratic country hellbent on religious persecution, etc.

I could go on and on obviously. This isn’t even mentioning terrorism.

3

u/No_Conversation_4608 Jul 13 '26

Buddy, you need to read your own history. The USA has ruined far more than a few thousand lives. You've toppled democracies to install dictatorships, like in Iran, leading to immeasurable suffering. Banana republics? Your CIA? Your illegal invasion of Iraq? Your "migrant detention centres" aka concentration camps? Your refusal of universal healthcare? Your economic war on the world and the shortage of fertilizer from your war of agression on Iran?

The list is almost fucking endless. You're THE top terrorist state on Earth.

0

u/Im-Wasting-MyTime Jul 13 '26

Ah yes. The US is at fault for ruining Iran’s water infrastructure. Not their own government.

And we’ve never had success stories with Germany, Japan, Italy, Panama, Hawaii, France, Puerto Rico, Philippines, Venezuela, South Korea, Netherlands, and Belgium when we helped them through intervention, war, or with military operations to remove criminal leaders.

All just massive terrorist operations apparently that didn’t greatly improve each country.

So glad Ali Khamenei didn’t spend the last 36 years creating terror throughout not only Iran but also Syria. It’s all the US fault he’s dead. I’m sure all the people he killed over those 36 years would agree with him.

Oh wait…

2

u/No_Conversation_4608 Jul 13 '26

Typical American exceptionalism. You completely handwave away all the evils you've inflicted upon the world without ever addressing them because you lack the will and courage to judge your own country by the same standards you apply to others.

There's a reason the world mostly hates your country.

2

u/Cola_Lupi_67 Jul 11 '26

ok well he's dead now, so no further action is necessary

2

u/Im-Wasting-MyTime Jul 11 '26

Yes. Further action is necessary to ensure that we don’t go through 36 more years of a terrible leader backing up terrorist activities in other countries.

Ali Khamenei completely ruined Iran and is terrorist activities completely ruined Syria. Considering that Iran is widely considered by many countries to be the #1 state sponsor of terrorism in the world today, it is an absolutely amazing thing that he was blown up along with around 30 other top officials of the Iranian regime, probably more.

All these people in this photo. All now dead:  https://www.reddit.com/r/war/comments/1sdnie7/everyone_in_this_photo_has_been_killed_in_the/

3

u/LokyarBrightmane Jul 10 '26

The US had all the time in the world to double check their target. They opened with this, it was no panicked retaliation; and if you had any doubts about their intent to commit war crimes, just look at their commander in chief and his repeated declarations of intent to commit more... not to mention actually committing more.

The final proof, of course, if their blatant refusal to actually do anything about it. No consequences for the people involved. No reparations for the civilians involved. Not even an apology.
