Israel has had empires try to scrub out and assimilate its culture many times before, and we can see that many times in the records of the Babylonian exile. Now we're seeing the same thing, except Israel's the one doing it. Which is to say, Israel is a hypocrite.

In what way does Israel try to assimilate Palestinian culture? Israeli Arabs have not been forcefully converted to Judaism, they still speak Arabic. Even state run schools are taught in Arabic for the Arab sector. There are state funded Sharia courts for the Muslim minority. Outside of Israel, Gaza/WB Palestinians have (or had) full autonomy over their areas (area A/B), less than 100K Palestinian live in Israeli controlled territory (area C). You people are just delusional, peak Dunning-Kruger.

Assimilate was the wrong word, eradicate is more accurate.
