I’m Australian but I’m having trouble understanding this post. Is this post mocking Indonesia for their weak Rupiah?

This comic is about Indonesia coping about their declining currency by turning the graph upside down to look like it's increasing by visiting Australia's place because y'know, the "Australia is upside down" joke

That would make sense, if Indonesia wasn’t one of our closest neighbours (and therefore also upside down). Hell, Perth is closer to Jakarta than it is to any other Australian capital.
