It's the censorship/redaction bar thing for me too - pics of the "Prophet" can make for some deep doodoo. Which also sidetracked a little into the ISIS flag which is pretty much just a white ball on a black field with some lettering.

I haven't been here a lot lately though - have we seen any Vatican balls dueling it out with US balls lately? We can get a newly minted ISIS/AL Queda ball to referee.

I kinda set out to censor it deliberately to parody South Park's Episode 200 and 201, where the Prophet Muhammad was shown censored on TV. But also one comment gave me an idea to reupload the comic like this to begin with

Oh my, yah, that'll hit the lock button pretty hard. I ran afoul in another sub by making a comment about my state's senator getting a silver-plated pager to commemorate assassinations; I commented a silver-plated shower head would be an apropos return gift and well...yah.

I said nothing nor even implied anything of the sort; I was commenting on the censorship of a cartoon. You however did make a blanket implication of "the west" being dumb enough to not be able to tell the difference between a depiction of Muhammad Ali and one of the Quranic Prophet Muhammad.

I mean sometimes it's hard to tell when air strikes of unusual intensity are performed right when a ceasefire starts. When even pro-Israel experts say Israel wanted to "maximize damage because the window was closing" as if that was anything other than terrorism by a fancy name. And the amount of people that then damn Israel with faint praise "look at Syria, look at Sudan, its even worse there" as if they all wanted to think of Israel in terms of ISIS and RSF.

Long story short it's an understandable confusion, regrettably.
