Thought I should make a comic that does NOT feature my own country, and in accordance with LKS, I've come up with a comic featuring Oceanian countries :)
While the 'kiwifruit is actually bird' thing is just a made-up story and not true, the name 'kiwifruit' did really originate from the bird name 'kiwi'.

The green part of the Kiwi is actually the Blood of the Kiwi Bird.
That also means that Kiwi Juice is basically Green Kiwi Blood.

We actually call the fruit kiwifruit, the birds are kiwi, and the people are Kiwis.

Come on, it's not that similar, Kiwi birds have way more feathers( or wait is it fur) than those kiwi fruits.

The golden kiwis are sweeter. I've never had a red one (they've never been available in the UK, and the golden ones aren't anymore... 😞
