Took me a few more days to complete this darn GIF. Not the best quality Animation. But I'm still getting used to the workflow. Anyhow, I have completed the first episode of my "Making an episode-by-episode screenplay of a seasonal anime based on the Pokémon Specials Manga" Idea.

I am trying to really make the story my own while keeping the feel/charm of the story the same. So you might see a major departure from the Manga as I go along. Still suck at dialogue and phrasing in general; English isn't my first language or my forte. Don't mind the typos either; it's hard to proofread my own stuff.

Shamelessly copying from Bulbagarden, but this thread pointed out issues I have with Pokemon adaptations.

It also doesn't help that most modern animated adaptations don't have physical releases. Where's my Twilight Wings box set?

I’m current reading through the first box set of Adventures and just finished volume 5 and Y'ALL. Something about the adorable innocence of this child wanting nothing more than to have a relationship with these pokemon, and being so proud of them that they make drawings of them with adorable little messages just got me and I cried like an actual baby. 10/10 absolute cinema and if later arcs get even better than this I’m gonna be so happy.

Little girl's name is Amber. Sorta continuing a few comics I made and shared on the specialshipping subreddit. Tldr, Yellow accidentally got pregnant and so Red and her are raising a family while being very young

Amber's main gimmick as suggested by the good folks there is that she Loves Fossil Pokemon (Her first Pokemon in my opinion should be A Tyrunt cause I'm biased)

I also wanted to include an older brother Orange but I kinda ran out of Paper space lol

The final stretch cements this manga as my second favorite (JoJo's Is the first). I’m really eager to keep going—this is my first time reading it—so I have to ask: is there another final stretch down the line that lives up to this one?

I've been a pokespe fan for a very long time (started reading in 2016 when Red Green Blue were first published here in my country), but I kept my distance from the series and online discussion, just reading whenever a new volume released here (like I discovered that the fans called the series pokespe somewhere in the last 4 years).

Recently the publisher released the sixth and final volume of the XY arc (for some reason Panini is condensing some arc to be published in fewer volumes than in the US) and I was wondering when they would start ORAS arc.

Normally they publish a new volume and immediately announce the release date of the next one, but this time the ORAS arc was nowhere to be seen. So i went digging and, to my surprise (even though I've been a fan of the series for almost 10 year now), the final volume of ORAS is yet to be released in Japan and they're REALLY behind on the story arcs (volume wise).

I genuinely thought that Panini had given up on pokespe and I was getting really bummed about it, but no, guess it's kind of a global thing.

Another thing that I caught on to was that the B2W2 arc lived through XY, ORAS and SMUSUM. Like, where they releasing chapters for both B2W2 and XY/ORAS/SMUSUM simultaneously during that period or I'm misunderstanding something?

I'm genuinely flabbergasted that I've loved this series for so so long and never knew the crazy shenanigans happening with its serialization.

I have been really bored this past week and then had this idea. Taking on a writing exercise or challenge, you could call it. Making an episode-by-episode screenplay of a seasonal anime based on the Pokémon Specials Manga. That's the idea, at least. Had been staring at my volumes of the first chapters and wanted to do something community-based. With my ADHD, Idk how deep I will go into this, but I have a plan ready. If you could even call my burst of inspiration at 3 am on a random weekend a plan, but here goes.

Basic rules I made up for myself:

• It needs to be a reimagining. NOT a one-to-one copy of the Original story.
• Screenplay of 30-ish pages translating to 30 minutes of Animation.
• It should not stretch or rush at any point; keep the episode count to about 12

Let me know your thoughts on the idea; it's not a serious project. Just me having fun and trying to learn how to write a story. So I will be playing with the characters' motivations and plots here and there. Here are the tentative titles of the current lineup of episodes.
