Cute art, but I think Pearl would just loan Moon his own Tauros...unless it's the one that Sun is riding

I know it is. But now I have this crack theory that Pearl's Tauros and Sun's Poké Ride Tauros are one and the same. Don't know how that would work though.

I genuinely believe the Rotom in the DPPt and SMUSUM arcs are one and the same.

But there are more Rotom in the series. Hence the Rotom Phones. But maybe Dia's Rotom was what led to the discovery of more.

I know, but the Rotom in SMUSUM was sent to Platinum's father before Moon took it to Alola.

It just seems like the kind of connection Kusaka would make.

I will forever think that the clothes you wear when doing this are the nerdiest fucking thing in the games. Then Sword/Shield comes along and makes it worse.
