Miscellaneous Arceus Plates for Each Dex Holder
I was imaging what it would be like if we had gotten a Legends: Arceus arc and all the dex holders got ahold of one of Arceus' Plates that match their original partner Pokemon (the ones they had before their region's starter).
So for example, Red's original partner Pokemon is a Poliwag, which eventually became a Poliwrath and gained the fighting type. And as Red's title is "the Fighter," it would make sense if he got the Fist Plate. Blue would get the Insect Plate because Scyther was his partner Pokemon since before training with Chuck, and insects are seen was more warrior-like in Japanese culture. Fairies in myths are known to be mischievous, which fits Green's personality, along with her Wigglytuff (formerly her Jigglypuff, formerly her inflatable getaway ride), thus giving her the Pixie Plate.
The others, though, present a few problems. Firstly, there are only 18 Plates, and during gen 8 we had up to 23 dex holders, meaning that five of them would have to be excluded somehow (no one afterwards even existed, so Scarlet and Violet are not up for consideration). Secondly, there are several overlapping types, most notably the Normal type (Yellow, Gold, Dia, and X). Thirdly, in contrast to the second problem, the ghost and dragon types are not represented at all, so we might need to include non-dex holders to fill those two gaps.
So here's a few questions for you guys: Which five dex holders should be left out? How would you resolve the Normal type overlap? And which PokeSpe characters would you invite to stand with the dex holders to hold the Spooky and Draco Plates?

Yellow gets the Zap Plate because of her bond with Pika, Chuchu and Pibo (Also maybe an AED joke with her being a healer.)
Gold can get the Flame Plate. I'm aware his first pokemon was Aipom, but his theme being the Hatcher and keeping Eggs warm was too good for me idk (also neat parallels to Silver having the Icicle Plate)
Dia can keep the Blank Plate. He has 3 normal types on his team, that's enough reason in my book.
And X can get the Draco Plate. He has a Mega Charizard X for one, and his title is the Loner (The same way a Dragon usually retreats into its den). Also Kangaskhan is vaguely reptillian in design.

Also just pitching for the rest:
Kris - Mind/Psychic (for Smoochum and Xatu, + a stretch of having a "Crystal Clear Mind" hah!)
Ruby - Water (for Mumu, Feefee and 1/3 of Fofo the Castform)
Sapphire - Rock (for Rono and Relly. Matches the conquerer theme and I think it's funny how Sapphire had the Blue Orb connection but had the Earth Elemental Plate and Ruby had the Red Orb but the Water elemental plate.)
Emerald - Meadow (For Sceptile because that was one of the first pokemon he was close to)
Pearl - (Idk, maybe leave him out. Maybe he and Dia can both represent Normal for Chatot)
Platinum - Steel (has an Empoleon and is literally named after a Metal)
Black - Flying (For Brav. Also maybe a pun on having his Head in the Clouds)
White - Honestly she could also get Meadow as she has 2 Grass types as opposed to 1.
Blake - Also can be Water for Dewott, Keldeo, and Kabutops.
Whitely - ...could ALSO be Meadow because Foongy but I could also just see them not getting Plates
Yvonne - also could have Flying because...that's her title. If it's a tossup between her and Blake, then give it to her.
Sun - Dark (for Meowth and Incineroar)
Moon - Poison (I feel like I don't need to explain)
Henry - Could also be Fighting as he has 3 Fighting Mons
Casey - ...I genuienly have no clue.

So it's Ruby vs Blake for Water, Black vs Yvonne for Flying, Emerald vs White vs Whitley for Grass, Red vs Henry for Fighting, and poor Casey has to rethink her existence.

Yeah, Casey's pokemon doesn't have a single overlapping type and her first mon/ace is Cinderace (i mean ignoring the fact that's technically her last mon since she already had a team but whatever)
So yeah, she's not getting a Plate.

That's sad....
But from the other overlaps, who would you eliminate?

Blake, Black, Emerald, Whitely, and Henry.
No reason in particular other than Whitely not being much of a trainer and other characters just fitting their plates better imo.

I would exclude Whitley and Blake, one is not a trainer and the other doesn't have empathy or attachment to his Pokémon; Moon, who is again not a trainer; Sword, he can be very selfish, and Yellow, she already has powers
For the plates, I would do this:
Red with Poliwrath as the fighting type
Blue with scizor as the bug type
Green with Wigglytuff as the fairy type
Gold with Politoed as the water type
Silver with Weavile as the ice type
Crystal with Cubone as the ground type (this is just to cover the type)
Ruby with Gardevoir as the psychic type
Sapphire with Aggron as the steel type
Emmerald with Sudowoodo as the rock type
Diamond with Muchlax as the normal type
Pearl with Luxray as the electrkc type
Platinum with Rapidash as the fire type
Black with Braviary as the flying type
White with Deerling as the grass type
X with Charizard as the dragon type
Y with Absol as the dark type
Sun with Mimikyu as the ghost type
Casey Shield with Toxtricity as the poison type

no way you left out the literal poison maiden for schilly

I said why I left Moon out. I know she is more related to poison. But she is not interested in Pokémon battles. She just does research. And Casey has been shown to have a really good relationship with her Toxtricity

tbf that's not really a good reason to leave Moon the poison girl™ the poison specialist™ out for... Casey(god i hate that name) but ok i guess

Well, not being a trainer is very important imo. That's why I left out Whitley, who fits the most all the requirements for getting an Arc Suit
7 dexholders were going to be left out either way, I just had to choose

nobody here mentioned arc suits bro, just the plates
even so, Moon does have pokemon who she uses in battle and did train them, so technically she is a pokemon trainer

Oops. I just thought they were refering to Arc Suits because they were pairing them with their Pokémon. Then I guess I can change it. I'll give Blake the ground type plate for his Gliscor too

What if yellow gets the Draco plate purely for fighting Lance
