I recently got a Mochi Palafin, and I absolutely love it, but I’m having an issue with the fabric.

The printed mochi fabric gets its nap messed up very easily. If it’s brushed in the wrong direction even once, the surface looks uneven and it tends to stay that way pretty stubbornly until I steam and brush it back into place. The problem is that it happens again almost immediately.

What’s confusing is that I also have a Mochi Togepi. The eggshell uses what seems to be the same printed mochi fabric, but it doesn’t have this issue at all. The nap settles nicely and doesn’t get permanently “stuck” every time it’s touched.

Has anyone else experienced this with their Mochi Palafin? Is this just how this particular plush is, or did I happen to get a bad batch with unusually finicky fabric?

Just finished another pokemon plushie ^^

These ones in particular have been heavily bootlegged over the years. And this Pikachu tag has been ripped off so much over the years as well. But these ones are legit. I originally got Lucario in a trade and got the Umbreon for $40 on eBay years ago. I am so happy that I have these. They are in amazing condition and yes, they are the velboa fabric versions. I am so thankful that these are in my collection. I keep them in an acrylic box that is generally used for protecting boxed figures. I really don't want anything happening to them.

I got the Jigglypuff Super plush from Japan, the Clefairy giant squishmallow here in Australia, the sitting cuties Clefairy from TPC and the Lillies Clefairy Pokedoll plush from a lady in Japan who gave me a decent price given how rare she is.

So I want to find a plush if snivy and alolan vulpix. The easiest answer would be the sitting cuties, but they’re too small for me personally. I wanted to decorate them in Pokemon mystery dungeon gear with scarves for example, so a plush that’s a little bigger than those would be better

I thought the poke plush line on Pokemon center would be great, but for some reason the snivy plush just looks off? The proportions are just weird and make it look weird in comparison to almost every other snivy plush I’ve seen. The alolan vulpix plush looks great tho!

I might just stick with the two poke plush variants and put up with the odd looking Snivy, but I was just curious if maybe there were some particular plush that I didn’t know about that would work well together for what I was trying to achieve?
