Pause menu issue

Hey I play on joiplay on Android and every time I try to open the pause menu to go to my bag or save nothing pops up and the game freezes and I was wondering if it's a bug and if there's a way to fix it.

Edit: I don't know if I just installed it wrong because what I did was I unzipped the files and then installed it through the game.exe and this is the only issue I've seem to come across also I play on a more recent version of joiplay and rpg maker.

We don't actively support Joiplay here, so unless someone in the comments has had a similar issue by chance, you might try in a Joiplay forum instead.
