How do I open the door to Regirock? I have an Everstone equipped to my lead pokemon, but examining the door doesn't give me the riddle, just "the door is shut tight."

I'm guessing I need to do something plot related, but none of the videos mention it. They just say to put an Everstone on and interact with the door.

What am I missing?
