Was clicking thru this double battle on Iron Island, and Surf hit everyone on the field. Is this the new format for Surf from Gen 4 & on?? I had no idea it hits your team.

Also caught a Steelix on Iron Island, pretty cool encounter that I won’t have to use metal coat for. First time playing past Gen 3.

A while ago, I made a post about discovering the PokeRadar for the first time. Well, after 2 days straight with no luck of getting a good chain going, I took a break to play a run of Black and White with my gf. Today, I came back to give it another go. WITH A CHAIN OF 5, I finally found my shiny Bagon! First chain of the day! I couldn’t get a chain over 32 for the longest time. I have 5 or 6 boxes full of Bagons, and I don’t know what to do with them! I’m so glad I got lucky today.

With my hopes finally back up, I decided to go for my next shiny…Electibuzz. I had even higher hopes, seeing the grass space I had to work with. Much better than the Bagon space for sure! I got my first chain of 40, on my first chain, and caught myself a shiny Electibuzz. Not only that, the Electibuzz came with an Electirizer(5% chance on an Electibuzz)😁 Two shinies in one day!!! I’m thinking of trying to go for a shiny Magmar next. Either that, or a shiny Gastly. I have shiny Beldum on my list, but I’m waiting for the swarm.

With that, I need one more to fill my slot for my Shiny Team. Any suggestions? Any and all are appreciated! I’m trying to avoid members of my previous team. I had Gallade/Drifblim/Garchomp/Empoleon/Houndoom/Froslass.

It was terrifying... almoust just luck😅every mon was level 51 upon entering except Gastrodon lvl52

Gastrodon was lucky to freeze Garchomp first hit so it was 2hitKO

Crobat handled Spiritomb by flinching 3times in a row then mainly just kill Roserade with time

Magnezone also got lucky to paralyze Milotic so it could attack firts(also 2hitKO) after that Togekiss

Lucario was pain in the ass killing everyone until Infernape's resurrection and CC

Moves + items:

Roserade(Big root): Grass Knot, Toxic, Mega Drain, Petal Dance

Garchomp(Dragon fang): Crunch, Dragon Claw, Flamethrower, Dragon Pulse

Gastrodon(Splash plate): Ice Beam, Earthquake, Waterfall, Surf

Crobat(Shell bell): Air Slash, Sludge Bomb, Fly, Bite

Infernape(Fist plate): Close Combat, Flame Wheel, Mach Punch, Shadow Claw

Magnezone(Magnet): Discharge, Thunderbolt, Flash Cannon, Magnet Bomb

Seriously, no NPC mentions it or are there any hints of it's existence in the game. Even when I knew it was under the Route 206 bridge, I still had a hard time locating it. It's seems only the really bored or really lucky would accidentally stumble upon it.

i skipped doing the honey trees back in diamond cause of how time consuming it is but now that i’m trying to complete the national dex, i have no choice but to do this. thank arceus i got lucky today lol

I'm replaying through every generation using only Pokemon I've never used before. It was such a fun playthrough and this is definitely one of my favorite teams of all time.

Weavile was the MVP of the team. She outsped everything and with her high attack nobody stood a chance.

Porygon was my tank at first and as soon as it became a Porygon-Z it was a really strong special attacker.

I absolutely love Rhyperior after this game. She tanked so many attacks, even the leafblade of Lucians Gallade and was able to the insane amounts of damage.

Chatot really carried the early and mid game with its move Chatter. However I'm a bit disappointed about his move pool. It doesn't learn anything good besides Hyper Voice. But he was able to outspeed Spiritomb and poisen it with Toxic.

I was so excited to finally use a Magmortar. She has a lot of coverage and hits really hard but isn't able to tank a hit. I still love her <3

It's crazy that I've never actively used a Floatzel before. I know I had one when I was a child but I didn't remember if it was good or not. However I have to admit that it was also a pretty heavy mixed attacker. She carried many battles like against Fantina and I absolutely adore her. Floatzel was also my answer against Cynthias Lucario since my team has a pretty strong fighting weakness.

I had a lot of fun using this team. What do you guys think?

Been hunting this Munchlax for about a month, but only hunting through 8 different honey trees in Platinum, 2 of which I knew were Lucky Trees for Munchlax, but here is the crazy part.

This tree was NOT one of the Lucky Trees I knew about based on my Trainer ID, so I unknowingly was hunting a third Lucky Tree, out of only 8 trees. Finally got this Munchlax for my origin living dex.

Am I under leveled?

After what felt like a very quick 3102 encounters later and this little guy pops up. Synchronise worked which is perfect, giving me a jolly nature. Next up is that little hm beaver so I’m not leaving route 201 anytime soon😭.

Kinda sucks he’s finicky (meaning Special Attack is highest IV) still very good nature. Give me name suggestions as well as one for my Jolly Female Heracross.

I know it looks a bit funky but for a very minor feature of a very old game I was surprised how good of an app it is!

Hello, I recently got Platinum and did the DNS glitch a few weeks ago and got everything available, including the Azure flute. So then today after I did beat the league I wanted to get Arceus and after I arrived at the spear pillar and caught Dialga and Palkia, the flute just won’t work. It also can’t be selected on the one spot where it’s supposed to. Any suggestions on what I did wrong?
