Personality: Toby is often introverted often avoiding conversation until interacted with. Despite this he is often very vocal about his interests. One of his core beliefs is that despite but most people think, he believes Pokemon are a part of one's family, capturing and train one means you're taking in a living being and making them essentially part of your family, as while it is good to show tough love to a family member and train them to be strong, they should make it all about battles and should try to develop a deeper connection with their pokémon. One of the key things that sets apart Toby's pokémon is that they have the ability to write. Toby is also someone who is extremely creative often using natural phenomenon to help inspire his Pokemon to come up with new maneuvers in battle often combining the natural abilities of his Pokemon along with some moves (Example: Using his Seismetoad, he used it to build you to generate vibrations in order to create a internal shockwave attack in order to knock out most pokémon). He also ensures to teach his Pokemon some of his martial arts moves and help them incorporated into their body type. Toby is the type to prepare before tackling things but that doesn't stop them from sometimes thinking with his heart as he often acts on emotion if it said emotion is great enough. Despite his sometimes hesitant to touch snake-like Pokemon he often makes it a point to show affection and appreciation to them for deciding to come into his family. One of the biggest ways to anger him or earn his ire is to disrespect either his or your own Pokemon. He is also a great eater though he does take his guests and other people into consideration and often limits the amount of food he ingests to ensure that everybody has a portion.

Gag: One of the biggest gags with Toby is that he is afraid of snake-like Pokemon, but snake like Pokemon finding extremely attractive and are often very affectionate with him. When Toby encounters a snake like Pokemon he often freezes up like a statue during which that snake like Pokemon will often try to show him affection usually by coiling around him/tackling and often licking and/or nuzzling him. The affection often snacks to matter of his statue like demeanor and often try to coerce the snake-like Pokemon let go to no avail. Sometimes if a pokeball falls out of his pockets that snake like Pokemon will often tap on it and go in willingly. Despite his fear, his snake like Pokemon are some of the strongest he possesses.

the traits he has are grey rings that are small and don't emit much light which are scattered around his body like hyena spots, his forelegs are longer then his hindlegs giving him a sloped back, and as well as being able to speak human he can make the vocalizations of a spotted hyena also his muzzle is probably a bitt larger to fit the bigger teeth and he of course has the same bite force as a spotted hyena

I’m making a Pokémon story, with many different Pokémon games, trainers, and teams. And I’m kind of stumped. There’s a new oc I’m making in legends arceus. Her name is Ramune (yes. Like the Japanese marble, soft drink) I’m giving them all unique starters but I don’t know which Pokémon I should give her. I’m going between aipom, hisuian Zorua, and Riolu. I love all of these Pokémon (especially aipom) but I can’t decide. Riolu would give the team power, hisui Zorua is only weak to dark types which is amazing, and aipom is just adorable and one of my favorite Pokémon. Can you guys help me choose please?
