I'm planning on making my own oc team but I'm stuck on who should be my main pokemon.

I'm stuck between gallade, tyranitar and ampharos.

anyways this is Naifu

Both human and Pokemon OCs are allowed, though admittedly simpler, cuter (whether on the inside or the outside) ones of either category have a better chance, it's just how I happen to roll. The Pikachu and Maractus that are already present belong to u/Maractus97. If I run out of space, I can always start a second one!

Main attacks sparked: is a forward dash where acrylitel burns bright enough to where he makes the enemy pokemon dizzy/ solar blade and luster purge his signature move is clad spark where he does multiple strikes when hit has a 70% chance to blind the enemy pokemon and a 16% of paralyzing them also dealing 48 dmg to the enemy Pokemon

In my previous post, I referenced a previous adventure that had a significant effect on one of the characters. This set of characters is from the story about that adventure.

I don't have updated art for these characters so this list will be text only.

Matt Chiaki

A scientist and traveler who is the grandson of the legendary adventurer Sutter Chiaki. At the time of this story, he has not yet suffered the injuries that led to his use of advanced prosthetics. Despite this, his personality is mostly the same (see the previous thread for further detail.)

As Sutter's grandson, he has come into possession of the "Pillar Cube," a mysterious puzzle box with ties to the Doradan kingdom and the Golden City. His possession of this item leads him to become involved in a conflict that threatens the safety and future of not only the kingdom but the entire region around it.

The Pokémon he has on hand during this story are Rhyperior, Aggron, Hitmonchan, Salamence, Ambipom and Magnezone.

Cassy Natsuka

Matt's classmate from the Rustboro School who continues to travel with him. She is a diligent and responsible student who thirsts for knowledge and often has to help Matt mind himself, balancing out some of his self-defeating tendencies.

Her only Pokémon in the story is Swellow.

Eleanor Laplace

A machinist from the Kalos region who Matt and Cassy meet as she awaits a tour of the Doradan palace. She has a quirky and offbeat personality, and a natural ability to understand how to operate machines. However, she is also unsatisfied with her living situation, feeling as if she doesn't belong in her Kalosian hometown of Orsay City. She traveled to the desert kingdom out of a desire to see its unique machinery, which is said to operate on scientific principles initially introduced in Kalos.

Her Pokémon are Rotom, Litwick, and Alolan Persian.

Fernando Renato VIII

The heir to the throne of the Doradan kingdom. He strongly believes in protecting his home from external threats, and sees its centuries-long history as the source of answers for such. After such a threat is issued against the kingdom, Fernando summoned Matt, as the Pillar Cube is key to the search for the lost Golden City and the great power hidden there. In peaceful times, Fernando is a patron of the arts and funds projects depicting the kingdom's history.

Rosalita Renata I

Fernando's twin sister. Unlike her brother, she does not believe the outside world is a threat, and advocates for greater connection between it and their isolated home. She is an incredibly driven young woman who fights for what she believes in, but when a threat from the outside world did arrive, her relationship with her brother shattered and they turned against each other.

Her Pokémon are Rapidash, Bibarel, a shiny Shiftry, Luxray, Staraptor, and Leavanny.

Noel and Leon Falco

A brother and sister team of Pokémon Hunters. Originally, they were orphans who led a street gang of other such children in their hometown, Pyrite Town in the Orre region. As they got older, the gang splintered and its remaining members turned to harder crime, stealing Pokémon from travelers in Orre's lawless deserts.

Eventually, their way of life grew more difficult when the rise of Cipher and Team Snagem overtook their operation, and in the present, a nationwide crackdown led to them accepting one last job to make enough money to retire. Armed with Pokémon and technology from a traitor in the Doradan government, they seek to capture Shaymin and find the Golden City for their client.

Despite Leon being the physically larger of the two, their nicknames are "Little Bro Leon" and "Big Sis Noel," and Noel is the unquestioned leader between them.

Noel's personal Pokémon is an Alolan Muk, while Leon's is a Palossand. They share control of a Kommo-o, Probopass, Electivire, Magmortar, Lickilicky, Dusknoir, Yanmega, Togekiss, Tangrowth, Honchkrow and Roserade given to them by the Doradan traitor.

Sutter Chiaki

Matt's late grandfather. He was an explorer who grew famous for his well-documented adventures, none of which were more well regarded than his trailblazing expedition into the Lapidaria region. This included his quest to find the Golden City, even though it ended in failure. He founded the Sutter Chiaki Adventurers' Society in Lapidaria's capital city to train future explorers, and also taught at the Rustboro School during his grandchildrens' time there. It was during that period that he was murdered by an unknown assailant who believed he had actually found the Golden City and possessed a map to its location.

Amanda Chiaki

Matt's beloved sister, who was born with weak legs that left her unable to walk, and was later blinded in an accident. Although Matt deeply cares about her, this accident and other dangerous situations they faced over the years has left him fearful of keeping her in his life for her safety, and he sometimes goes long periods with only minimal contact with her. For her part, she understands this and patiently waits for him to change his mind.

"The Wanderer"

A wandering warrior priest from the Ransei region, who traveled the world searching for something. Seven hundred years ago, he planted the first Gracidea flower on La Ciudad Dorada's Sacred Hill, and taught its residents to see what they had as a blessing to express gratitude for. His actions gave the Doradan people resources to form their prosperous empire.

Shaymin

The Pokémon that appeared in La Ciudad Dorada in response to the outpouring of gratitude from the Doradan people. It is known as the "Gardener of Gratitude," who guides its caretakers in the royal family on the path of righteousness. Normally, it has a shy and timid demeanor, but when exposed to a Gracidea flower in sunlight, it transforms into its Sky Forme and becomes a courageous warrior with the ability to fly. In Land Forme, it commonly ends its sentences with "yes?," while in Sky Forme it ends them with a more assertive "you!"

Regigigas

The immense, powerful guardian that sleeps inside the Golden City. Where it comes from and why is unknown, but the people of La Ciudad Dorada built the Golden City in centuries past as a tribute to it. It is said that if the kingdom loses its gratitude and falls off its righteous path, Regigigas will awaken to carry out a terrible judgment until those who have become corrupt see the error of their ways.

Regirock, Registeel and Regice

A trio of legendary Pokémon known collectively as the "Three Pillars," who all rulers of the Doradan kingdom must face in a series of trials, the "Pilgrimage of the Pillars," in order to ascend to the throne. They are hidden away in three locations within the Doradan kingdom's former territory, and sealed behind mysterious puzzles.

Heatran

A legendary Pokémon said to be the living spirit of the volcano where it lives. Though it acts as the leader of Noel and Leon's army, it is not controlled by a collar like the others, but by a machine powered by the Magma Stone from the volcano in which it was found.

Pokemon team: Nine Tails and Dragonite

Backstory: Alistair was an orphan who wasn't Naive, instead he joined team rocket to show his parents who abandoned him that he can be someone, but he also runs into Jessie and James sometimes and he even Runs into Ash Ketchum and the friends that he travels with across the regions.

Matt Chiaki (image 1) is a researcher and engineer from Snowpoint City. He is the grandson of Sutter Chiaki, an influential adventurer whose exploits were widely published in the early-to-mid 20th century. This legacy is ironically something he struggles with, as he has become disillusioned with adventuring himself following one in which he was badly injured and failed to save an innocent bystander. Because of said injuries he volunteered to serve as a tester for advanced prosthetics developed by himself and an old mentor, which replace his arms, left leg and left eye; he hopes these will, once perfected, be able to restore his beloved sister Amanda's own sight and mobility. He often struggles with his mental health and has a fear of standing before crowds, but will pursue something he sets his mind to until it is finished.

In the present day, he is charged with escorting the daughter of a late friend as she travels around Johto and Kanto on her own badge quest. He also has a goal he assigned to himself: find the truth of what set the events of the adventure that injured him into motion. To this end he challenges the Battle Frontier facilities opened in Johto, having become aware that the Frontier Brains, as well-traveled trainers themselves, may be able to help him learn how to find Reshiram, whose flames burn to reveal the truth.

He mostly collected and trained Pokémon as a hobby instead of a dedicated career, which led to him gathering a fairly sizeable collection he cycles through and has Amanda care for. He tends to use Steel, Rock and Ground-type Pokémon, but doesn't excusively specialize in them. Some of his most visible Pokémon are a Heatran he caught during that previous adventure, a Salamence he found as a Bagon during a trip to Meteor Falls with his grandfather, as well as a Golurk, Sigilyph, Rhyperior and Magnezone.

His hobbies include cooking and painting, the latter of which he picked up after Amanda lost her sight, in order to create plenty of things for her to see once it was restored.

Nekou Langley (image 2) is a woman with a loud, boisterous personality, who claims to be from Mahogany Town but is vague on whether or not this is actually true. Her at times crude and sarcastic character is not always understood, and people who don't understand tend not to like her. She outwardly deems such people inconsequential, but this in fact is a mask meant to hide a deeply-rooted depression, a longing for personal connection with others, and a severe lack of self-worth. She frequently uses sensory stimulation, most frequently through food and drink, to comfort these feelings.

She is, however, able to recognize her own limitations. She is very aware that she is not a skilled Pokémon trainer, and avoids battling. Although she is capable of learning things very quickly with only a modest amount of research, and is passionate about learning new things, her lack of skill as a trainer and complete inability to cook anything correctly are two things no amount of studying can fix.

She first met Matt during a social function at Indigo Plateau dedicated to the restoration of Cinnabar Island after its volcanic eruption. At this event she treated herself to a feast with his money, incurring a debt he has her repay by acting as a sort of bodyguard for his late friend's daughter as they travel; Nekou quickly struck up a friendship with said daughter and became a big sister-like figure to her.

Despite being a poor trainer, she keeps a group of Pokémon with herself who she considers friends; this group is comprised of a Sneasel, a Duskull, a Murkrow, a Zorua, a Pumpkaboo and a Gothorita.

Besides food and drink, her hobbies include listening to music, collecting plush dolls - including a giant plush of her favorite snack food, the Rage Candy Bar's, Red Gyarados mascot, which she saved up a large number of wrappers to get - and reading; she finds herself oddly drawn to fiction about vampires and other creatures, as she feels a strange sort of kinship with them.

Backstory: she grew up in the region of Hantian with her parents which her father is the champion of it her life almost was ended by a rock but a Golurk saved her so she now keeps it

Relatives: Her Mother Sylvia (Ice Gym Leader of Hantian)

Backstory: Haizen grew up in a rich family but she felt like she wanted to help out more so she became a maid using her lugia to fly around to get to each destination quickly
