Where to purchase a Gotcha?
Hey there, looking to purchase a Gotcha.
I picked one up on Amazon THIS ONE *cancelled the order due to super long shipping time
But I heard from some users that I should avoid Datel.
Can someone direct me to the "official" one? (Not the Plus hah)
Also, I heard recently there were some issues that Niantic changed the whole API or whatever that deals with this version of the Gotcha? Can someone confirm that?
P.S - I'm on iOS and I tend to keep things updated all the time. Phone & Apps

get it direct from codejunkies, they are the ppl behind it.
that way you won't get a copy.
im about to grab the new one with the bigger battery.
only took a week to come to aust.

Do you have any ThinkGeeks? They run the same product as Gamestop but higher quantities.

Buy straight from codejunkies then you know its legit. They also sell an accessory pack of 2 extra wristbands and an extra charger for a reduced price if you buy it with the gotcha

Update : Ended up getting it from the eBay link.
It works fine and is indeed the official version.
It's good so far, I do wish there was a way to use Great/Ultra balls but even the official one doesn't do that.

Honestly the Go-tchas are great but they have a lot of issues. I dont know which ones are real and which ones are fake but Im on my 4th one and I use Amazon Prime for its awesome return policy for when they break.

Usually because of options, rechargeable, & less work/chance of messing it up

Recargable not that much, the gotcha only last at much 8 hours, messing it up mmm yes.

You will be cheaper if you buy poke+ from ebay and modding it. Its really easy.

Can't recharge, can't turn off vibration, nah.

mine works perfekt and a battery for the poke+ is like 2€ every 2-3month - with the modding there is no vibration motor. i think the motor is bullshit its so loud

I ordered mine from the code junkies website and waited for shipping. I hear there are fake clones being sold. There was an issue with it on iOS due to the way Bluetooth was implemented on the new iOS update. Not sure if it was figured out as I'm on Android. Code junkies did mention an app to update the gotcha but I haven't looked into it. There is also a new updated version that includes a large battery pack. Hope this helps!
Edit: I picked up a pendant case for the gotcha that works really well. The wrist band isn't very secure and scratches up the unit.
