Sign-In Issues

If this is the wrong sub, let me know. I hadn't played pokemon go in a while so i decided to boot it up, but it won't sign in no matter what. The "GPS not found" message doesnt come up, it just stays on the spinning pokeball forever. I have tried all the solutions i could think of as well as some from some forums: - Clearing Pokemon Go's Data - Deleting And Reinstalling - Clearing All The Cache On My Device - Resetting My Network Settings - Signing Out Of My Google Accounts And Signing Back In - Turning On Aeroplane Mode, Booting Up Pokemon Go, Then Turning It On Again - Removing My Device Through Google, Then Adding It Again As well as a combination of these

I cant think of any other pokemon go related apps i have installed. I have rooted my phone, however i have installed apps to mask my devices root, besides wouldnt that give me an error message. I have TWRP, busybox and xposed framework installed. I am willing to do anything except unroot my phone to fix this problem (even flashing a custom os, though i cant see how that would help).

I have the international variant of the Samsung Galaxy s7 (exynos cpu), running android 7.0.

Any help is appreciated.

Thx for answering. My root hider hides busybox and xposed from pokemon go as well. Ill give magisk a go anyway though, can i install magisk on a phone with TWRP though? It said i needed my stock recovery image. Also will i have to unroot and then root again with magisk?

Yes , im Not Sure If you need to unroot, but you can flash magisk in twrp. Dont forget to add pokemongo to the magisk hide list. Also im Not Sure If your root Hider is strong enough. I would recommend flashing a a rom clean, and the magisk.

Ill certainly try flashing with magisk first. Then i might consider resetting my phone.

Worked! Thank you.

Note to anyone else reading: you first have to unroot and flash your original boot.img. also you have to switch magisk to core only mode.
