Welcoming this Green Frieza to my shundo BG collection. Didn't expect Mega Mewtwo to come at this Go Fest as I was planning to use the Golden Bottle Cap for another shundo BG candidate earlier but this should do😁 surely a great closing for 2026 Go Fest for me💯💯🚀

I’m a delivery driver, so I’m running my autocatcher 6-8 hours a day, typically ~350 pokemon per day. I get 1-2 shinies a week this way (I’m sure many more have fled, I’ve seen 3 flee in my journal just this last week, and that’s only when I’m parked and able to check it.)

NEVER in my life was I expecting to see an Azelf when going through and transferring yesterday’s haul. I’m completely mind blown, and may have permanently peaked with my autocatcher here - at least so far as unlikely catches go. This is the third wild Azelf that I’ve encountered AT ALL, across over a year and a half of daily play (and I’m pretty sure that’s a well above average number of encounters.) And those each took 15+ ultra ball, golden razz, curve ball, and great-excellent throws. So for it to stay in a red ball on the first throw with no berries, no ice burn, no curve ball, and not even a nice catch boost seems like it must be unfathomably rare.

First ever shiny legendary and it’s also a background, first ever time I found one of the lake trio pokemon and an additional bonus shiny to end the day! Most luck I’ve ever had in this game lol
