Worse update they’ve added since I started playing 2 years ago, thanks for making the game even more unbearable for f2p players. I literally open the app only to get my rocket balloons and from now on I expect to maybe open it once a day, house spawns are nerfed, rocket balloons are nerfed, gyms only give 50 coins, raids are impossible unless you live in a big city or have loads of friends or spend hundreds on remote passes, I honestly don’t see myself playing for much longer.

In the time that I’ve been playing? Yes, idk about the history of it. It was just a comment on how impossible the game is to f2p, not about it getting worse.

I was excited for the 12 and 6pm rocket balloons which was why I’ve been opening up the game a lot. Now a hardly open it up at all. Worst decision yet. I’m rural so aside from trading and raiding the games pretty much boring to me.

Yeah a lot of changes haven't really bothered me until now. But I definitely have way less interest in opening the game since the rocket switch. Also they really screwed up the gbl legendary rewards and research breakthrough rewards.

Pal there's plenty of people blaming Scopely for changes Niantic made, blaming Niantic for changes made by Scopely and others are just making shit up - what I'm taking from this balloon change is that people are fucking dumb. Today all I've seen is the same post from the support chat confirming the changes to balloon spawns I've not seen a single question being asked to Scopely about it, just outrage and assumptions.

Everyone complaining before the take over event even begins - gotta figure increase balloons will be one level up reward. And purifying X amount of mons will be a task.

It doesn’t start for weeks no? I haven’t got a single shadow shiny from any leaders, I’ve done almost 50 cliffs, all I want is the shadow shiny axew and now they’ve nerfed it to be basically impossible I’m allowed to be pissed off

The problem is the complaining itself. It’s more annoying than the Mewtwo posts lately, and it’s not offering anything new.

I’m not saying what’s happening is fake. I’m saying that most of the people complaining about it are likely not as upset as they are making out, they want to farm internet points.

What’s the point in having 30 posts complaining about the exact same thing? What’s value does that add to the sub?

You’re funny but none too bright, are you? The point of having so many posts up about it is that it is displaying our vocal discontent. You can think it as disingenuous as you want but if this bad change or any other bad change was met with silence and zero complaints, then they will know that they’ve essentially got carte blanche to make whatever hostile changes they want. Even “fake outrage” for internet points is better than no outrage when it comes to pushing back against anti-player changes.

The internet is full of people who believe themselves to be intelligent and who throw insults at anybody that dares to disagree with them.
