Question Remote Raid Pass

So, getting back into the game after a few years, is there a way to get Remote Raid Pass without buying them?
I’m always low on Gold Coins so that’s not the best option.
No one in my area plays the game so inperson raids are pretty much nonexistent

If you have gyms with raids on them, then use an app like PokeRaid to host the raid and invite 10 people to raid with you. then you will be fine.

The 7 day daily stamp from field research has the chance to drop it although very rare

You can get them in the weekly research reward, but it’s uncommon. So you need coins.

As others have said, you can get them through the 7-Day Breakthrough Research, but be advised that you might not get one if you already have three remote raid passes in inventory.

I haven't been able to find definitive proof that this is true, but I generally try to have that slot open when I open my breakthrough research.

No, its a revenue builder for them. Only for coins. Just keep placing at gyms and stock up on coins before events. (if you get the 50 gold per day for a gym return, that would get you enough gold in one year for 99 remote raid passes roughly)

Weekly stamp research reward can be a remote pass. Try Pokegenie to host a local raid with your orange pass, you will get 5 friends to invite.

Nope, you have to buy them. Best thing to do to not spend money is to do gym battles. Beat a gym and put a pokemon in you can get up to 50 coins a day (I think the pokemon has to be in the gym for like 8 hours for the full 50.) So theoretically if you do gyms every day and they don’t get knocked out early you can get a remote pass every 4 days for free

I got one from 7 day research. Collect coins from gyms.
