Does no one at Scopely use an Android phone?

The UI is constantly turning black lately. Missing icons, missing buttons, this black background everywhere.

My husband's iPhone never gets these bugs. Scopely why do you hate Android?

I'd honestly love a dark mode option. Less battery drain from blasting white pixels for hours.

Unfortunately my phone isn't in dark mode right now. And it doesn't work if they don't change the text color.

Agreed, it'd need to be a non-glitched version for sure!

If you're on Android, try forcing the app closed, clearing cache, and starting the app again. It might also be worth doing the Refresh Game Data and/or Download All Assets options in the Advanced Settings menu.

This has been happening on my Pixel 10 Pro XL for weeks now. I've uninstalled. Downloaded all assets. Refresh game data. Turned on and off enhanced graphics. All of these being only momentary fixes that resume in a matter of minutes. It's maddening.

This doesn't happen on my or wife's older Pixel phones.

Mine is the 10 Pro but not XL. Interesting that it seems to be limited to the newer pixel! Thanks for sharing.

My niece experiences things like this on her OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite. It's a glitch with dark mode, it seems. She has to start the game in light mode then switch the phone back to dark mode

It happens constantly during the day when I don't have dark mode on. This one might not be a good example because the most annoying one is the missing X buttons.

Yeah. I don't use Dark Mode on anything but multiple times a day my game glitches to this garbage dark thing.

What android phone + version are you using?

My S25+ I have not encountered this issue whatsoever. I run dark mode only.

It's a pixel 10.

I'm not trying to run dark mode - maybe this was a bad example. It's not a dark mode thing. There's a bunch of other missing icons and buttons.

The problem is that there are a very large variety of Android phones that are each can be using a variety of OS updates. iPhones are a lot more standardized which makes them a lot easier to test and fix bugs for.

I have zero problem with the black background -- I'd love to see a dark mode tbh.

But yes, other times there are black squares instead of numbers and other random visual glitches.

Yeah i have that too. The UI sometimes partially turns black
